Burned rosewood
Majestic or not? Regal is a serious candidate for me. Hamburg.Team Meeting. 3 splashes on the body and one on my shirt. Puhh! Regal by Boadicea is not fresh nor really alive. It grows slowly. There is this cool green what you mention. How should I wake up with this unfresh scent? This is an evening or Winter fragrance! Heavy creamy stuff and smoky it goes in the top notes. This is a rosewood scent. It is not particularly fresh rose rather a dried rose, along with leaves, thorns, roots, and wood. So a dried rose Bush with a slightly smoky note.I miss the fruits And other notes listed here. There is no trace of various flowers and fruits after hours. I don't really feel amber too.
The fragrance developed masculine hour by hour. Boring and Monotonous. Short : at the beginning no freshness, heavy and dry notes. In the Middlenotes no sweet rose. Male smoky and woody in the end.
Regal lasts only up to 5 hours and Sillage is mediocre. The scent stays close to the body.I just expected more. For me one of the dullest Boadicea fragrances, but not really bad.
