Sweet floral on steroids
This scent changed my mind aboud florals.
I used to hate florals and used to think that florals are very feminine until I found out about boadicea ardent, seemed interesting on fragrantica so I ordered a sample of this and after the first spray oh my…
This is a game changing floral.
That first blast of floral mixed with the honey, beeswax & amber is really to die for.
It’s very rose-ish but somehow it is very masculine smelling floral
For the guys that are afraid to use rose based fragrances you are really missing out a lot.
It is very alluring, sexy and inviting perfect for dates or night outs
Longevity and projection are also great especially for this price range!
I get about 9-10 hours of longevity and very solid projection for the first 3-4 hours then you are left with an amazing skinscent from the drydown of the fragrance which still from time to time you are going to get small whiths of the scent.

In the Mood for Rose
This is an unapologetic, romantic rose fragrance that achieves a wonderful balance of notes and expressions of this iconic flower. It’s classic without feeling old-fashioned or soapy.

The opening is fresh (coriander/carrot seed) and joyful (hedione) but still mature (saffron). I feel instant exuberance with the initial spray—opened to life and what the day might bring.

In the heart, the fragrance becomes a sweet honeyed rose. (Maybe a little too sweet if I have been overexcited by the top and spray a bit more than necessary.) It’s not a weak fragrance at all and the sillage is generous. Three sprays is probably more than plenty!

The heart notes last and last creating a loving atmosphere of rose accompanied by a joyful jasmine and warm golden honey. While the top feels bright green and effervescent like a spray of pink rose buds, the heart unfurls as a full rose blossom, velvety in color and texture, weightier, sustained, still full of life. This rose is open and ready to work its magic for the world over.

The dry down into the base just makes me love the fragrance even more. The rose darkens with time and patchouli subtly supports it with an emerald green-ness, the sweetness also darkens into an intimate heady amber glow that carries the rose the last few hours.

This fragrance is for any and all lovers of rose! For this Gen X momma with goth roots, Ardent is a powerhouse love tonic that helps me set an optimistic, abundant, loving tone for the day. It has a gravity and complexity that feels mature and balances the sweetness. (I can be a bit averse to sweet fragrances but the green, earthiness works with the honey to keep it grounded.) Because the sillage can be generous, less is more in an indoor/work environment.

The rose of nighttime allure
It oozes sophisticated and magnetic sensuality. Its character is deep.
On my skin, I get a strong sense of a Rose-Beeswax-Patchouli-Amber-Jasmine combo. Those are the notes that hit me the most. God, they’re just beautiful!! There’s also a rich woody base with hints of warm resins. You can also feel a touch of spice and a hint of sweetness.
What really makes Ardent special is how it evolves on the skin—it transforms and gets super warm. It starts with a spicy, almost "zesty" touch, then shifts into warmer tones. The rose immediately greets you with its sweetness, a bit waxy... it’s amazing. Then the jasmine comes in, adding more depth and softness. Seriously, it's out of this world.
As a multi-dimensional take on rose, it reminded me a lot of Rose Absolue . As for the vibe, it makes me think of Night in Paris . All three of these rose fragrances share that seductive, nighttime allure.

Controlled Fire
combines intensity with remarkable refinement. From the opening, it delivers a warm, sensual richness driven by resins, leather, and a subtle sweetness that never feels heavy or cloying. Projection is strong in the first hours, commanding attention without becoming overwhelming, and gradually softens into a luxurious, enveloping trail. Longevity is outstanding, easily exceeding 10–12 hours, with a deep, elegant dry-down that lingers on skin and fabric. Ardent feels powerful, opulent, and controlled, a statement fragrance with undeniable presence.

Donnerlüttchen!
Rose, Oud, beeswax. Has anyone already said that?
The sticky sweetness is a bit breath-taking and slightly borderline, and could have inspired Helene Fischer for her latest hit.

Note, by the way, beeswax, mind you, not honey, was invented alongside peach, coconut, and butyric acid in hell.

Here, however, one has olfactorily hit the narrow line between Windows and OS X and, with sleepwalking certainty, tends not to lean towards the broad masses.

What many don’t know is that Boadi always mixes a bit of that stuff into his creations, which is also found in Chio chips or Haribo licorice snails. Coke or something.
I don’t know if that’s really okay.

Elegant scent but poor lasting power I felt.

Ardent opens with a lush rose, beeswax and saffron mix, settling into a warm, woody drydown with amber, vanilla, and oud touches.

A warm and winey, oriental spicy-floral Fall fragrance, softened by a gently dusty, earthy-woody base. Nice beeswax-rose combo! 100% Unisex.

Deep and smoky and the bees wax gives this a softer feel. The rose, vanilla and wax, well blended. Lasts long too

Honey sweet, lively, gorgeous rose. For when I am in love with life and want everyone else around me to be in love too.

Exquisite rose-forward with saffron opening. Dry down is vanilla-ambery and equally delightful. My new Spring fling.

Do me a favor and learn from my mistake; buy this end of winter and stash it for good 7 months.

Intense Cafe style sweet rose open, followed by what is primarily a woody-spicy rose dry-down. Pretty basic, rather quiet for this profile.

If you're into rose and Orientals smells I think this is a solid fragrance, if you are going to an event with a suit and stay there for 5-6h

Noir de Noir but when the current NdN would have run out of gas you get a pleasant white musk+amber skin scent. Available heavily discounted
