Vanilla, vanilla and vanilla

Does it have something of Mon Guerlain? Yes. Does it have Libre? Yes. Does the fragrance have a tried and true DNA that sells well? Yes. But all this does not make him bad.
I have read so many negative reviews and thought dewegen to such a meaningless fragrance. But after testing I was positively surprised. In the beginning, you perceive lavender paired with vanilla. The lavender but keeps within the framework and is not annoying. What I feel with the Libre Eau de Parfum so.
In the drydown I smell then more and more a beautiful dark vanilla note. This also lasts for several hours. And if I did not know that it is a designer I could also suspect in the drydown that he smells nischig. So for me a great addition for the fall / winter.

Warm feel good fragrance

The fragrance is pretty straightforward, without a lot of frills. You definitely get what is promised: namely vanilla. Not a dark vanilla, but rather a light, sweet (but not too sweet) vanilla. The lavender makes the fragrance a little bit spicy, but is by no means in the foreground. I perceive it only very marginally. Very slightly I also perceive the cocoa note, which rounds off the whole wonderfully harmonious. Goddess is really not to be compared with Libre, this is rather a very cool fragrance, Goddess, however, invites with its warmth to cuddle. Perfect for the fall / winter. But also otherwise an Immergeher, for work, leisure. It doesn't scream. I'm glad to have bought him, but can also well imagine that one smells quickly full.

Vanilla with a difference

I think Burberry has succeeded in creating a very beautiful fragrance here. When you think of vanilla, you often think of heavy, sweet fragrances. Burberry s Goddess is different. The combination of lavender and vanilla makes the fragrance light and pleasant. Although it is a sweet fragrance, the lavender does not make it heavy, but pleasant on the nose. For me, it's a great vanilla everyday fragrance. It makes you feel confident and fresh.

Designer fragrances often seem to be stuck in an endless string of "Hm, don't I know that from somewhere?". Walk into one of these perfume stores and it's almost like experiencing a fragrance cocktail of the thousandth repetition. But 2022 and 2023 have ushered in a new era - the time of vanilla and tonka bean. These two notes are suddenly everywhere and dominate many perfumes. Goddess is considered by many to be the new vanilla fragrance par excellence.

But how does the fragrance smell? When I first sprayed, the beginning was so off-putting that I thought I had caused an olfactory accident. Synthetic notes mixed with alcohol and an unpleasant cleanser-like lavender note. I immediately disposed of the test strip. My nose needed a break ...

But after many had raved about this scent, I decided to give it another chance and even try it on my skin. The beginning was still so bad. Balea vanilla shower gel meets lavender all purpose cleaner. I definitely had a moment of regret.

But after an hour - oh, what a relief! It became bearable. It reminded me a bit of those Kayali scents. In the drydown there is only vanilla and it is not so synthetic, but rather creamy and slightly sweet. But to be completely honest, this scent is nothing to get excited about. Much like Vanilla 28, I would, use this scent more for layering with other fragrances. It is plain and simple vanilla. It's not bad, but it's not exactly groundbreaking either. What can I say A vanilla scent with an initial shock moment - like life itself!

What can I say about this perfume?

Right at the beginning I notice a very light lavender scent, I don't like lavender, I had a lot of fears before I tested it, but it was very well done.
Then comes a sweet and juicy vanilla, a scent that you want to smell all the time. After six hours I still want to smell it, but now it's a soft, elegant scent.
I loved it!!!!!! ️️️️
