The fruity, clean and pleasant one that nobody talks about! / A little special story.... / A little insider tip for layering!
Hello everyone,

today I would like to talk about a fragrance that is never mentioned and is "tiredly" smiled at by some, it's about the 1872 Tarocco Orange
Many who are "somewhat" familiar with the niche world and hear something like Clive Christian and hear an authentic + beautiful tangy - fresh - fruity orange, those quickly think of the "legendary" and felt priceless 1872 Mandarin and yes I am one of them and honestly so. A few months ago I saw it in the souk here and thought to myself oh come on...

The little special story... (for my wife and me):

When I looked at the information about the fragrance I saw it was listed as a feminine fragrance and I thought to myself ...., oh come on, found a bottle at a fair price - bought it... And I have to say that there are 1, 2, 3 fragrances that my wife really likes in a certain temperature range and that is Light Blue Eau Intense, the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette and the Chance Eau Fraîche Eau de Toilette. I also like these 3 enormously on her and already x - xx months ago she asked me if there is not such a thing as an "expensive variant".

Over the months I had a lot of bottlings here and in the end they were "no fulfillment" for her and since I have the 1872 Tarocco Orange in my arsenal she uses it very often and recently she said, yes I wanted something like that! (Misson complete!)

It is fruity, on a nice fresh base (as it is noticeably high quality) and in the first 1h - 2h I find it absolutely UNISEX (without tendency), but after the 2h it goes in a light floral, soft and creamy direction, then I understand the classification feminine.

As a man, I also use the 1872 Tarocco Orange (although rarely), but it is very suitable for layering. For men, for example, 3x 1872 Tarocco Orange and on top 1872 for Men to make it even fruitier or what also works very well is Anniversary Collection - 150: Timeless and "Crown Collection - Crab Apple Blossom | Clive Christian". And for women, Molecule 01 is never wrong - to increase the performance and 1872 for Women also fits 1a or Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette !
I find the H/S good!
(And layered very well)

If you find a remaining bottle or a sample here and find yourself in the review, then I can only recommend this great fragrance to you!
And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

Pure nostalgia
Tarocco Orange - the name alone triggers a quiet dribble. I don't know what a Tarocco Orange is, but it sounds so juicy - and also a bit exotic or oriental. Maybe my slanted brain associates Morocco as well... So one thing the scent reveals right at the beginning: Juicy orange: Yes, Oriental: No!
At the first really unbelievably fine spray a wonderful orange note immediately surrounds me. Not bitter or peel - which I also appreciate very much - but fruity-lovely, without slipping into too much sweetness. I feel like other commentators here: The beginning is such that one could imagine all possible directions in which the fragrance develops. After a short time, however, there is no longer any doubt as to where the journey will take us. An unsmellable lily of the valley lies in the air. All lovers* of this plant should really appreciate this fragrance. I am not exactly a friend of this plant here: In the garden or in romantic Mother's Day bouquets, combined with forget-me-nots, I love it. In perfumes, however, it sometimes has such a penetrating, stinging, dominant note that these fragrances do not make wearable for me. Rarely have I smelled lily of the valley in perfumes properly integrated into other plant fragrances. This is the case with Tarocco Orange: other white flowers - I imagine myself smelling jasmine and freesia, but please don't be shure! join them and form an elegantly interwoven, creamy white, extremely romantic bouquet. A touch of violet powder conjures up a wonderfully nostalgic note.
This bouquet rests on a bed of soft wood and musk, an elegant base that lasts fantastically long. When I sniff my arm the next morning, it could also be the basis of a Guerlain Vintage fragrance and I think I can catch a trace of moss in the breeze.
A truly perfect fragrance for all lovers of nostalgic floral scents, which retains a bright freshness through the more intense citrus component!
For me, the fragrances of the "Twist" series, each of which brings a fragrance component of Clive Christian's original fragrances to the fore, are much more interesting and exciting than the original fragrances. The Twist series is limited - these fragrances will be sold off on the Clive Christian homepage in January. And by 50 percent they come into a price range that I am willing to spend on fragrances that enchant me as much as this one. Patience is sometimes really worth it!
