Lovely rich dry-down
Nice! Very masculine dark spicy wood. Its violet-y and plummy and rich, initial notes didn't last long however the dark woody musk lingered for a long time. Quite masculine leaning and smells great on my BF. Bit similar vibe to Moss just a much much warmer feeling version... i dont want to post this as a statement thank you because I'm copying all my reviews over first before I go in with short punchy statements.

Much More Than it Seems
Smelled sharp and sweetly medicinal upon initial spray and I could smell the so-called whiskey- which was really more of a wormwood, cedar, woody scent sweetened with vanilla. On dry down, this scent really awakens into a beautiful dark fruity scent where the black current and plum really shines through. The woody notes deepen and the cedar and mahogany shine. A pretty complex scent if you ask me, although upon initial spray, I wouldn’t have thought it to be this complex. I recommend. Smells nice on me, but I think it would work on either sex. Don’t write this off as a “drunk”scent because it’s so much more than that.

Note: Fragrances are sprayed on, NOT drunk!
Here comes another Commodity fragrance. This time with a name that makes some people's mouths water, while others are repulsed and want to run away. Personally, I have nothing against whiskey, even though I'm not very knowledgeable about it. Generally, I don't mind if someone offers me a drink; I just shy away from the fact that it is even our (that is, for us Turks) national drink… Raki! Ugh, THAT tastes like something to run away from :D

Anyway, as long as the scent here doesn't remind me of (not tasty) cough syrup like Raki does, then I'll be glad, he he (I think I don't like Raki just because I'm not a big fan of anise…).

So, I will now try this fragrance and hope that I don't end up somehow drinking it if I like it… :D

The scent:
The scent actually starts with an alcoholic note reminiscent of whiskey. Of course, this scent is not too strong at first, as you can initially smell the currants and plums very well. From the violets, there is also a (here) slight sweetness, but also a lovely powderiness.
After a little while, you can still smell all the mentioned fragrance notes; the whiskey impression is slightly stronger, and now an earthy-herbaceous note is added. I can't say for sure whether it smells like the indicated saffron, but you can definitely recognize patchouli. However, even though you can feel the earthy note, the distinctive scent of patchouli itself is rather weak. The same goes for the lavender. You can only smell it faintly (or rather, only when you sniff where you sprayed), but you can still notice a bit of the bitter note in the fragrance.
Of course, the woody notes soon come in, which are simply absolutely fitting for the alcohol-influenced scent. Cedarwood is the note that you can smell the best. Although this is not mentioned, I also have the feeling that I can detect a very light suede note in the base.
Overall, the fragrance continues to smell of alcohol in the base, but the bitter and herbaceous notes decrease, making the scent (along with the woody notes) significantly warmer and thus softer. With the amber (or ambra), it also gets a lovely, sweet note that smells very pleasant. By the way, it remains a bit powdery the whole time.
In the very late base, after a few hours, there is no trace of whiskey left, but the fragrance smells very nicely of sweet-warm vanilla, amber (which smells stronger than vanilla), and beautiful woody notes. This phase lasts for a while, and I believe that this phase occasionally reminds me a bit of fragrances like Dior Homme, Prada L’Homme, and even Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Overall, a very great fragrance.

The sillage and longevity:
I find the projection good; although it doesn't maintain its strong projection the whole time, it is enough to be well perceived.
The longevity is extremely good. Sprayed in the morning, it can last until the next morning, depending on the dosage.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and made of dark glass. The label is also dark, with the name of the fragrance written in white. The cap is also black and cylindrical. All in all, quite nice, but also a bit simple.

I must admit, I don't know much about (good) whiskeys, so I rarely drink these drinks neat (or never drink them neat… many even believe that it should be diluted with a bit of water, which I haven't tried yet!). But a good friend, who is quite the drinker (if she reads this, she will either laugh or hit me… :D), told me that with a good whiskey, which doesn't taste like many cheap varieties *gag*, you can definitely taste many aromas, which is what makes the actual whiskey enjoyment.

And it's the same with this fragrance here. Besides the alcoholic note, there is a variety of aromas or fragrance notes that you can perceive gradually, making this fragrance not only smell very nice but also something you can truly enjoy. With its wonderful, evening-appropriate projection, it is therefore a great going-out scent. Although it is more autumnal and wintry in type, it could possibly also be used as an all-rounder.

Whiskey is one of those fragrances that you definitely should try at least once, as it really smells really good, provided, of course, that you don't mind scents reminiscent of alcohol :)
Just maybe don't wear it at work… :D

Very helpful Review 5
all cinema?
my favorite drink for art house cinema evenings is hot chocolate with a splash of whiskey. warm, comforting, relaxing, and in an elegant way, stimulating.

in whiskey by commodity, it's all that, but so much more: a gentle spicy warmth that evokes the association of gold
a subtle fruitiness that feels fleshy and tender,
subtle sharpness that uplifts and focuses
a hint of smoky earthiness
noble, warm wood that suggests reliability and security
the slight dustiness of old cinema seats
.............all of this in balance and restrained elegance

a splash of "whiskey" on the neck and the film of life can begin:.......

Wood for Connoisseurs
The great fear of wearing a perfume named Whiskey and smelling like you spent the night on a park bench with your good friends Jack, Jim, and Johnny disappears immediately with the first spray.

A fragrance world opens up, dominated by wood and complemented by soft fruits - all masterfully combined so that it harmonizes and works.

You feel comfortable and secure right away.

At no point do I actually smell alcohol or other sharp notes - just well-integrated woods with violet and warm tones.

The moisture decreases and makes way for an amber softness that sensationally complements the wood and keeps me happy for hours.

The environment receives "W
*y / Whiskey | Commodity" excellently - office-friendly and pleasant.

How such a masterpiece can be taken off the market is beyond me.

Can't validate how close to whiskey it smells, but I can confirm it's a very masculine, woody smell. Not unpleasant, but not for me.

Did not love at first spray but drys down to a lovely woody, black fruity scent that one could absolutely live in.

Cheers! This is about the concept of Whisk(e)y, not a gourmand: alcoholic, slightly spicy, woody, spicy, fruity: invigorating!

Spray on Dior Homme and sip whiskey on the rocks. Or just enjoy this scent on its own: vanilla + iris + Angel's Share.
