Velvety rose
The name is well given as the new Irresistible Rose Velvet by Givenchy is indeed smelling to me like a velvety plush rose, at least for some time. An almost indolcì Jasmine can be perceived on my skin, which ruins the experience for me. However the perfume is very pleasant and would recommend testing on your skin, you may have better luck as I tend to get this effect from jasmine on my skin.

Resistance is futile
I love the Irresistible range, and thought I had it all.
But today, I came across Rose Velvet in the perfumery.
I actually didn't have that one yet.
Of course, I sprayed it and found it delightful.
It has an interesting spicy sweet rosy character, like my rose with the beautiful name "Peace."
It hasn't bloomed yet, but Rose Velvet made me anticipate its appearance.
I can already see its delicate yellow beauty before me.
The iris adds a soft powderiness to the fragrance, which harmoniously rounds it off.
Rose Velvet is absolutely irresistible, and resistance is futile.
It fits wonderfully into spring, now that nature is awakening.
A fragrance for any time of day, with a touch of elegance.

Indolic white floral (almost like tuberose), which made the rose smell "bubblegum-y" - and subtly-sweet patchouli. Sharper on my skin.
