Clean in a Bottle

I call it clean, I call it fresh and uplifting.
Summer will be an excellent roll out opportunity for it, will give it more wear as I only just received it & its a like and keeper.. I won't say its anything revolutionary & surely there's something out there its similar to.
Find it at a cracking price & then its worth the purchase, at RRP i'd certainly not have bought it.

Gucci 1921…or…the wheel cannot be reinvented!

I don't know what some people always expect! A new fragrance cannot always be the super new, never-before-seen composition.
There have been many brilliant perfumers who have created true masterpieces.
So, it's hard to create something completely new, especially when the fragrance pyramid is limited to just a few individual notes.
So. so what!
In my opinion, to put it simply, this is a fresh, crisp summer scent, as has been created many times before.
These days, people don't like to commit. The fragrance is marketed as "unisex." Strategically smart, as this allows for a broader audience appeal.
In my view, and this is my personal opinion, Gucci 1921 is a very classic men's fragrance.
I, as a woman, have tested it...and yes, I like it very much.
I also have no problem wearing it myself, especially now in the
summer.
And yet...I would find it better on a man, sexy and more interesting.
Whether one wants to spend a lot of money on such an average fragrance is up to each individual.
It's not bad, but the wheel has not been reinvented here.

This fragrance is a disgrace...

I received my bottle of Gucci 1921 this morning. I was really looking forward to this fragrance from Gucci, especially given the high price for a fresh scent. Of course, I had to spray it on immediately.

Right after spraying, my expectation of a great and unique summer fragrance bursts. I start to think, what is this???

Unfortunately, I could answer that question just seconds later, and so could my girlfriend. Acqua di Giò pour Homme is my name, today disguised as Gucci 1921, with a little freshness and aquatic notes from Light Blue pour Homme Eau Intense added for improvement. I really don’t need to write anything about the notes or the development, because I could just buy the two previously mentioned fragrances or read the reviews about them. The result is the same.

I am really very disappointed with what Gucci and Alberto Morillas have produced. I really find it quite a disgrace, because we are truly talking about a fragrance twin here. I have rarely experienced such disappointment while testing.

The longevity is, what a surprise, the same as the two previously mentioned perfumes. After 5-6 hours, the whole drama is thankfully over. You can surely sense my disappointment and also my anger over this really poor release.

There is simply no reason for me to purchase Gucci 1921, unless I am looking for a new decoration in the form of a bottle for my apartment.
