This almost hurts the nose upon opening because the spicy resins are front and center for a few minutes. On paper, I get a soft saffron and patchouli (cosplaying as leathers) mixed with an almost creamy rose, though I would say the creaminess is probably the touch of dainty musky ambrette. But on skin, this is very much a spicy rose that is sweet and aromatic in character. The rose to me smells somewhat fresh and realistic, but the medley of spices gives it a bad-ass twist. The fierceness tones down over time though, the spices are manageable about an hour in.
