Cheerful cherry
The opening is like crunching juicy cherries. I got a blast of syrupy cherry scent. Although I find it still a little bit synthetic, it's not unpleasant. It captures well the tartness along with the sweetness, and is actually pretty close to the real scent.

Once settled down, the cherry no longer stands at the front alone and blends with the emerging floral notes, among which the rose is the most detectable. If sticking the nose to the skin, the crisp green apple can also be easily detected. It then remains floral until the end, with cherry and green apple lingering along, adding a refreshing touch. It somehow smells like fruity rose candy.

Overall it's a sparkling and youthful fruity-floral scent for daily use in warm seasons. I do agree that the name can be misleading. However, like suggested by the cheerful and playful campaign, you can imagine that it's not a litte black dress that fits the figure perfectly, but with tutu and ribbon. Bearing this in mind, there might be less unexpected disappointment.

The sillage can reach moderate especially for the opening. And the longevity is quite impressive for an EDT. It lasted almost 12h on me. I'd recommend it if someone is looking for a cherry fragrance in a bright mood. Other than that, it doesn't have much else to offer. If you didn't give it a try, I don't think that you have missed much stuff.

Not my thing
To me, the little, black dress is an idea from the world of fashion, in which everybody looks great in - well… small, black dresses. I know that the thought is from a different time and today the world has changed. Back then the Parisienne was an image of elegance. She knew what to wear and when to. And of course she looked great in black, with pearls, heels and red lipstick. I therefore expected a perfume with the same aura or persona as No5. But alas…
I have a bottle of this in my closet. I have used it approximately 10 times, and every time it is clear to me that this perfume and I have nothing to talk about. If this is how a Parisienne smells like when doing her absolute best to be a femme de Paris, an ambassador for the French monde de la mode, then it leaves me a bit numb. I am not saying that this is not a good perfume, but I just do not get more from it than ‘nice’, which is too little for me.
I find the mix of notes a bit too weak. Perhaps too well blended so no one can say that there is too much or too little of this or that in it. I like specific notes to pop up in a perfume and I love to experience how they ‘dance’ with each other. To me, this is slightly lifeless. A bit sad for Paris.

Apple and Cherry Sour
I think it's like an introductory scent for Guerlain products.
In Japan, where I live, it must be the most popular of the La Petite series. That's because in Japan, the sweet and heavy original is somewhat avoided, and this refreshing apple-scented fragrance is more familiar.
I love the combination of apple and rose, which are both members of the Rosaceae family, so I think the almond and cherry fragrance is perfect for me. However, as a Lolita Lempicka fan, I still prefer the original. Blind buy is safe for those who own the original, but it may be a little difficult for those who don't. It doesn't have a particularly strong personality, but it has a strong cherry scent. If you like cherries, it may be safe.
It has a bright, fizzy effervescence, and if you tone it down, it becomes a "general scent." So if you use it together with the original, the light and dark are just right, making it a wonderful "middle" scent. I recommend using it for those who own both.

Best of both worlds
LPRN Eau de toilette is not "just" an Eau de toilette, meaning a less concentrated version of the innovative gourmand masterpiece La petite Robe Noire from the venerable house of Guerlain, but has its own reason for existence. Warned by the friendly owner of the owner-operated perfumery in downtown Düsseldorf... "Attention! This is a completely different scent than the Eau de Parfum!!"... it seemed to me at first that the EdT not only had a significantly fresher, almost summery-fruity opening but was also overall much lighter. However, that is not entirely true, as became clear after just a few minutes. It is true that overall the EdT is fruitier, less sweet, but the freshness kick does not last long. Nevertheless, the fragrance has some advantages over the EdP: it occasionally reminds one of the slightly bitter LPRN 2, which was unfortunately only available in limited quantities, is a beginner gourmand for those who find LPRN EdP too cherry-licorice, and is generally easier to digest - meaning it does not cross the line into being intrusive, as sugary gourmands often tend to do. And yet its longevity is enormous! Eau de toilettes these days are made so that you have to reapply them several times a day to keep the scent. Not LPRN EdT. It lasts and lasts, like the EdP, just as a fresher, less sweet variant. I will have to expand my LPRN collection with the Eau de toilette!

Sorry, I don't like you.
I have already finished a bottle of the original La Petite Robe Noire EdP and still own another one because I like it so much. It is one of my favorite autumn/winter fragrances; I love the fruity cherry combined with almond, tea, and vanilla. A gourmand of a different kind that really only works below 10 degrees - otherwise, it becomes cloying.

So, I thought to myself one beautiful spring that I needed to get a lighter version for the warm season. And since the EdT is highly praised here, it ended up in my collection more or less blindly. Unfortunately, I find this perfume so bad that I have since given it away - I just can't stand the smell. Even after spraying it on, the top note annoys me, and it doesn't get any better throughout the entire duration.

For me, LPRN EdT doesn't smell creamy or like cake at all; it smells like air freshener, like the toilet scent we have at work in the restroom. Honestly, it makes me feel really sick; the combination of artificial apple with gummy bear cherries is just totally nasty. For me, nothing is balanced or refined here; I would even prefer a cheap, floral drugstore scent. And it certainly has nothing to do with a chic black dress... Sorry, I don't like you!

Absolutely delightful! LPRN in a summer dress - dancing and jumping around, spreading good vibes. A very successful spring fragrance where the DNA dances along.

I don't consider this a big hit: too close to the standard, a distinctly synthetic fruity ester note (Guerlain??), musk base.

I never had this scent on my radar - I sprayed it spontaneously at Müller and what a surprise: wonderfully cherry, fresh, elegant.
