I LOVE gourmands. I like really sweet and cozy and warm scents. So of course I had to try this!

Oh wow, what a disappointment it was... the first spray gives some cinammon and sweetness (not enough of either, in my opinion) but that fades off super quick and within only a minute or two all I smell is wax. Not in a "smells like a scented candle" kind of way, but rather in a "newly opened jumbo box of plain candles" way. In fact, I tested this by comparing the scent to a box of plain candles and it was spot on.

The wax smell doesn't go away, the cinnamon and the sweetness never return. This is the first time in a long time that I found a scent that I truly truly don't like, and won't even keep for layering or anything. Straight out the door.

Fresh Cinnabon

TK back at it again with a photorealistic gourmand. Smells exactly like freshly iced cinnamon rolls still hot from the oven. Warm, gooey, cozy, spicy and sweet.

At first spray, as well as for the first couple of hours, it's cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sugar. As you progress throughout the wear, it maintains the frosting and cinnamon scent while gaining distinct dough and butter notes.

For the latter half of the wear, the cream cheese/buttercream aspect fades but the other notes remain strong. I didn't pick up on any distinguishable honey or biscuit notes. This perfume lasted somewhere between seven and eight hours on me.

Overall, this is a lovely gourmand that is perfect for the fall/winter months and isn't too sweet at all. It's truly amazing, the realism and quality that Theodoros achieves at this price point.

Can't Go Wrong With Cinnamon Rolls..

What a wonderful fragrance! While some reviews seem to be mixed, I personally think it's a hit.

As mentioned by others, the opening is kind of reminiscent of Big Red gum — it's mostly cinnamon and sugar. However, after about five minutes, the scent smooths out and becomes more buttery. Another five minutes later, subtle vanilla starts to emerge, along with a hint of doughiness, like opening a tube of uncooked Pillsbury cinnamon rolls.

From there, the sugar, vanilla, dough, and cinnamon blend beautifully. Overall, it's a very enjoyable experience!

Note: In the air, it smells almost exactly like fresh cinnamon rolls. It's nice to pick out the different layers up close, but I believe many of the complaints about it smelling exactly like Big Red gum throughout the wear come from people sniffing it too closely.

So Realistic!!

This is one of the most realistic gourmands I've ever smelled. I swear, I can detect all the components of an actual cinnamon roll- the dough, the icing, and most of all, the cinnamon. It's so sweet and buttery, but a bit spicy at the same time. I think it's an amazing representation of a cinnamon roll in fragrance form!!

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long on my skin. It only lasts around 3-4 hours on me. However, I've seen other reviews saying it lasts a lot longer, so maybe there's just something wrong with my skin chemistry lol.

Overall, Cinnamon Rolls is an extremely realistic smelling perfume that I think any gourmand lover would enjoy!

Aptly-named, outstanding encapsulation of cinnamon rolls

Theodoros Kalotinis Cinnamon Rolls is a 2024 release and fitting representation of the dessert, capturing the spiciness of cinnamon itself quite specially, with additional notes of sugar, butter, vanilla glaze, and Melomakarona (Greek cookie). I think it does a very good job of densely blending the sweet and spicy with just a pinch of sharp almost citric vanilla in the mix to give the impression of a glaze. I think it’s very well done and an instant love for delivering on the concept, being pleasant, and high-performing. This might be my second favorite of the house (that I’ve tried so far) after Coffee Addict, very special stuff, sort of a cousin of Tijon Le Bebe, a special scent inspired by the similarly composed cinnamon roll King Cakes of Mardi Gras in the US.

As with most of the line, it’s EDP concentration, priced at $55 for 50ml, really outstanding for a niche company in the current market, and I believe the entire collection is sold in the US exclusively at Luckyscent, which is where I obtained my sample online.
