A floral fragrance for the shy

A very pretty little scent. Nothing extraordinary, but wearable and inoffensive nonetheless.

I particularly enjoy this fragrance's softness and ultra femininity. Although this fragrance is a fruity floral, it doesn't scream fruit or synthetic sweetness, rather it's delicate, natural and unobtrusive.

There's nothing to dislike about Boss Femme. The opening of black currant, freesia and tangerine is pretty and soft. The heart which is made up of lily, jasmine and rose, smells like a fresh bunch of flowers which settles so naturally on the skin. The lemon tree note in the drydown is a lovely way to conclude this scent because it literally smells like a fruit orchard.

I had no problem with the lasting power. I've been wearing this for 4 hours and I can still smell it.

Boss Femme is a delightful fragrance if you want something gentle and feminine that guarantees not to offend.

N'importe Quoi, Quoi Que Ce Soit

It's always a bad sign when upon initial application of a fragrance new to me I think, "Hmmm... smells like something that I own and never wear...Hmmm...smells like x, or maybe y, or maybe z..." BOSS FEMME is a fruity-floral fragrance of THAT variety, the ones I somehow acquired but really do not like. A mixture of this and that and quoi que ce soit and n'importe quoi.

BOSS FEMME does not, thankfully, make me sick, but it does contain some synthetic elements which don't fully agree with me and would prevent me from ever considering it again. I have no objection to redundant scents (beyond their redundancy), but to my nose this one is not very appealing at all. I might actually prefer water to this.

Sad to say, but the strengths of BOSS FEMME are its weak staying power and very light sillage! I'm sure that this is a fine scent for someone out there somewhere--or maybe even hordes of people everywhere--but it's really not for me.

A nice dayscent

Femme from Boss is like a woman with everything under control; who knows what she wants. The beautiful minimalistic bottle with its baby pink juice is so well designed. It also tells us, that if you are looking for something extraordinary, wild or eccentric, you are looking in the wrong direction. Because this is meant for business, family dinner or a visit at a museum.
This is all written with a positive mindset. I like Femme. I think this is perfect for what it was meant to. The fresh opening, the more floral and warm heart and finally the warm drydown. Elegant, discreet and very feminine. Just right. Boss has other scents to offer, if you want to be heard and seen, such as Deep Red, a favourite of mine, or Pure Purple. But Femme offers something else. And does it well.

Intimetly Beckham to me it's barely there to light for my taste and i like me and my perfumes to get noticed. it does not last long on me so i'm swapping if anybody's interested
it's a feminine version of a hard Authorian boss Pefume. and it's perfect
to go out with your co workers for a spring weekend Lunch out with firends

Boss' Redemption

It is certainly a challenge to write a comment about a Boss fragrance without using the adjectives boring and unremarkable. I admit that I do not appreciate the intention of this brand - namely to create unobtrusive everyday scents that no one turns around for - at all.

Boss Femme is actually not much different from what you usually get from Boss, yet surprisingly I like it quite a bit. It lacks that strange stale and musty note that is very typical for Boss fragrances. It also doesn't smell excessively industrially sweet like The Scent for her or Bottled. Yes... it's not even boring. Something is happening here, and I am positively surprised, which I did not expect.

In terms of character, it reminds me a lot of Boss Woman (the one in that semicircular bottle). I once received that as a teenager from my parents and found it too serious and earnest for me back then. Like a Boss suit, perfect for the office. I definitely did not want that at 17. Today it still doesn't quite fit me, but one becomes more experimental over time ;)

It’s probably the freesia that seems so familiar to me. It is also present in Woman. And it has something soft and soothing about it. However, this is only after a very alcoholic opening. I actually smell a fresh-scented bouquet of flowers, with the freesia standing out in particular. After about 2 hours, a similarly light fruity hint joins in. No sour currant here. Everything feels fine and fresh and translucent. (Yes, there is still hope for the Boss fragrance world!).

And when you expect a vanilla 0815 base, it gets interesting again. The satinwood smells really authentic. It is also called lemonwood. Maybe because it is yellow or because it smells so light and fresh. Like an untreated piece of furniture made of natural wood, basking in the sun. In any case, the base also smells light and fresh, woody and slightly sour, which could be attributed to the apricot skin. However, it could also be an unripe apricot. (Yes... Boss has redeemed itself for me with this fragrance).

Unfortunately, the sillage and longevity are not as good as I would like. After 2 hours, it becomes very close to the skin and lasts at most half a day. The friendly lady in the office who wears it should only work part-time.

But that is for me the ideal wearer of the fragrance. A lady who immediately appears trustworthy. One does not hesitate to do business with her because one is sure she will not pull a fast one. Thus, Boss Femme would also be an ideal fragrance for job interviews, coaching, mediation sessions, or even therapists. As cliché as that may sound now. This is how a pleasant and discreet scent goes that is anything but boring.

For me, a candidate for purchase. By the way, the first Boss fragrance that I would actually buy for myself. Even if it weren't minus 75% :D
