Don't bemoan what you actual like
You are allowed to like Boss Bottled Infinite even though it's, sigh, "generic". Forget the silly fools spouting that nonsense. Let them keep crying about their soyboy iris while my chad lavender-sandalwood combo wows their woman. It's the fundamentals that get the job done. Plus that apple in the opening gives off the aquatic vibe that we all know gets the dam full. And yeah Hugo Boss is cheap but at least I don't have an oud fetish that leaves me with no money to have a personality.

Cinnamon and rosemary
This is going to be a one wear review of Infinite, that I will come back and add to, when I spend more time with this fragrance. However, I got to wear it from the store and took along a card sprayed with it, as well. So, I got a solid idea to what this one is all about, not that it’s super complex.

The opening is a blast of mandarin and some apple, at the top, and surrounded by a sense of freshness. It’s a slightly spicy freshness, but at that stage, the notes weren’t too distinguishable from one another.

However, looking at the notes, I’d say it is the cinnamon and rosemary coming through. Those two are probably slightly tempered by lavender and some sandalwood.

As it moves along a bit further, the mandarin takes more of the fruit share from the apple. This is joined by a fully emerged lavender and the smell of rosemary. Very smooth and clean, with that rosemary spice, and woodsy undertones.

Sandalwood? Some. Mostly, what I guess is olive wood, as I’m not familiar with that aroma.

Finally, the dry down, is a woodsy lavender fragrance with some citrus. It’s lavender, wood, patchouli, and mandarin.

At times, this does remind me of Boss Bottled Tonic, but like a stronger inversion. Bottled Tonic, wasn’t great, and this share the fruit and cinnamon. Bottled Infinite beefs up the woodsy notes and doesn’t rely so much of the fruit.

Friendly, clean and modern lavender with synthetic notes
I’m not the first one to say this, but this Boss Bottled is a great all-year-round choice for the office. The reason is that it’s an inexpensive lavender scent - that makes it clean, calming, mature in a positive way. It projects easy-to-like serenity. And longevity is quite good. If you love lavender you should give it a try.

By the way, I don’t agree with people who automatically associate lavender with “classic”
scents. In fact, this one is quite modern despite of its protagonist. The reason is the combination with the green apple (a must in Boss Bottled and I get it from the beginning) and the woody parts. They make all the difference and give the perfume a new (“modern”) twist. You don’t smell this combination elsewhere in shower gels and it’s not
like your father’s shaving foam. It’s new, because it’s… synthetic.

There is no such thing in nature as “green apple oil” to put in perfumes. It’s a synthetic note. And “olive wood” is in this case (and in many others) a fantasy name that evoces the scent of this wood. It’s also synthetic. And even the lavender… I always like it, but I have smelled more beautiful (and probably more expensive) lavender oils in other perfumes. My beloved Tom Ford’s Beau de Jour is so much more authentic.

You need to
know this, but don’t get me wrong: it all sums up to a friendly, clean and modern fragrance. For me the best in the “Bottled”-line and I use it from time to time. Is it boring? No. If you think about it, it even takes some audacity to mix apple, lavender and olive wood in one bottle. But the synthetic parts make my nose tired.

At the end of the office day it is still there… and sometimes I apply something else to get rid of it. A better lavender, for instance, something more natural.

Let's strike a blow
You can write a lot about the Bottled fragrances. There was and is a lot of criticism of them. Be it they are no longer modern, they do not last long, the variations are all more or less the same.....kurz um: To me, this series seems to have no good reputation, yet they are rock solid.

I find the Bottled Infinite has apart from the flacon design nothing more to do with the Botteld original. Had this fragrance been released under a different name, he would certainly have gotten a little better feedback.

For the current price in the various online perfumeries, you get a 5 hour office freshness, which rather goes its way in the direction of lemon. If one wanted to draw a comparison, he would probably be kindred with Sedley of PdM. - The similarities are clearly perceptible. However, just in the later DryDown the differences are clearly recognizable. - The Infinite comes rather a little synthetic therefore, where Sedley remains but rather more natural. Infinite therefore seems a little darker, a little heavier, but this does not make it a winter Thirst. He can be worn very well on warm days (perhaps even just now on the first warmer spring days).

All around a good fragrance, which of course should not be compared with niche. Who is looking for a good price-performance ratio and still wants to smell fresh citrus, please like to access here!

Thank you!

Fresh day scent
I've been eyeing this Bottled Flanker for some time. Bottled is the cash cow from the house of Boss with sooo many flankers. Of course, one uses the fame of this classic, which it already is after more than 20 years. For me the Bottled is an extremely good fragrance and rightly in many bestseller Top10. But the scent doesn't interest me very much anymore, because many people wear it. I don't like to wear the typical bestsellers, if at all. But I find flankers that are not too similar to the original or are much fresher very exciting. Here you get both. A fresh bottle, which does not remind too much of the original. In the blind test I would not have thought that this is a flanker.

Before the test/purchase I never had these big wow expectations. I don't always look for it either, because I like to smell fresh for a normal working day without big allyrs and without being a big tease. After a few tests I can say: this fragrance is very well suited for this. An all-year-round fragrance, which is especially characterized by its pleasant freshness. Even if it does not cause much of a nuisance, it has already recognition value.
Perfumer Annick Menardo has done handicrafts here and has already shown in many creations that she can do it. Also here a great solid work. This is a well-balanced mix of fruit, wood, spice and pleasant soft-sweet notes. At the start you get a lot of apple, refreshed with sage, just like the original. Sage is in my eyes a great fresh note, which sounds unspectacular but provides wonderful freshness. Here too. In addition a pinch of cinnamon, which gives it a great sweetish spice. Especially the olive wood from the base gives it a soft and well-groomed touch. Especially from hour 2-3, this fragrance is very fresh and woody with a pleasant spiciness. The apple-cinnamon combo is very much in retreat. You could call it a shower fragrance, which in my opinion is nothing negative. But this scent reminds me more of a bath in a nice blue bubble bath. The freshly groomed touch is successful especially great for the early morning hours after the morning care.
The performance is good. The shelf life of approx. 10 hours is very good. The sillage is good in the beginning, after 4-5 hours it is moderate but still well perceptible.

Altogether a great release, which convinces with pleasant freshness and good performance. For fans of very extravagant fragrances not really something, but for people with a preference for simple knitwear a good choice. One will surely notice positively with, because there are hardly people who will not like this smell. An evergreen, but not an option for special moments, just like this whole Bottled series.

This surprised me,it's very different from Boss Bottled, a shower-fresh, herbal-spicy, manly scent. Smells very familiar but superbly done!

Fresh crowdpleaser, with typical Boss DNA which women seem fond of. Don't bother buying, it will probably be your future Christmas present.

Inoffensive shower gel. Clean, fresh. Not a lot of dimension to it, but still worth picking up if you are specifically looking for that.

Longevity more like an EDT considering it is an EDP. Otherwise beautiful, uplifting, fresh fragrance and happy to have it in my collection.

A sweet and fresh kinda scent that is pleasant and long lasting. Nothing crazy and a bit predictable but still good for the price. 2.5/5

A decent offering. The cinnamon and patchouli creates a tobacco vibe that's quite rich and pleasant. A safe, if uninspired crowd pleaser.

Many say this is generic/unoriginal, and while that's kind of true I would say Infinite is excellent at being a versatile daily fragrance.
