Boss Bottled Infinite Hugo Boss 2019

Boss infinite was a blind buy for me as the notes was something that I knew I would enjoy and the price at the time was just too good to not buy it. I'm not gonna go through the notes as to me it doesn't develop in stages like say, Boss no6. The apple, cinnamon, lavender together with the sandalwood and I believe olive tree note blends together so well that it's difficult to breakdown the note development from start to finish. But to me it's a sign of a well blended perfume. People complain about longevity but I've never had an issue with it. Instead of spritzing, press the atomizer enough to unleash a full puff and with 4 on the neck, it will always last me the whole day. To me this is a really good flankers as it doesn't stray far from the original no6 but it still somehow manages to enhance the profile with the lavender and I really think the olive tree note also helps it be better. I wouldn't really use it in the height of summer but spring into summer and end of summer to autumn it does really well. It also projects like crazy once your skin gets into the sun so be careful cause the liquid is somehow oily and can get cloying. To me this is easily 8/10
I finally tried Sedley and it was too similar to Boss infinite and can say with confidence anyone buying Sedley for that price and bash Boss infinite clearly has money but no confidence. Notes are different but the mid to dry down is the same with infinite lasting longer.

You are allowed to like Boss Bottled Infinite even though it's, sigh, "generic". Forget the silly fools spouting that nonsense. Let them keep crying about their soyboy iris while my chad lavender-sandalwood combo wows their woman. It's the fundamentals that get the job done. Plus that apple in the opening gives off the aquatic vibe that we all know gets the dam full. And yeah Hugo Boss is cheap but at least I don't have an oud fetish that leaves me with no money to have a personality.

This is going to be a one wear review of Infinite, that I will come back and add to, when I spend more time with this fragrance. However, I got to wear it from the store and took along a card sprayed with it, as well. So, I got a solid idea to what this one is all about, not that it’s super complex.

The opening is a blast of mandarin and some apple, at the top, and surrounded by a sense of freshness. It’s a slightly spicy freshness, but at that stage, the notes weren’t too distinguishable from one another.

However, looking at the notes, I’d say it is the cinnamon and rosemary coming through. Those two are probably slightly tempered by lavender and some sandalwood.

As it moves along a bit further, the mandarin takes more of the fruit share from the apple. This is joined by a fully emerged lavender and the smell of rosemary. Very smooth and clean, with that rosemary spice, and woodsy undertones.

Sandalwood? Some. Mostly, what I guess is olive wood, as I’m not familiar with that aroma.

Finally, the dry down, is a woodsy lavender fragrance with some citrus. It’s lavender, wood, patchouli, and mandarin.

At times, this does remind me of Boss Bottled Tonic, but like a stronger inversion. Bottled Tonic, wasn’t great, and this share the fruit and cinnamon. Bottled Infinite beefs up the woodsy notes and doesn’t rely so much of the fruit.

Not much to say here as it’s a simple mainstream fragrance. I just love it. Smells like a mix between Dior Sauvage, Davidoff Cool Water and Sedley. Fresh, simple and very masculine. The biggest downside is its longevity- 3, max 4 hours and it’s gone. Great for hot sunny weather, isn’t cloying and projects well for the first hour. Spray heavily.

Okay so I understand that my rating is low but that’s because I have a very strict rating system for fragrances. However this is a very good mass speaking fragrance. It has a gorgeous apple note to begin with and going into the dry down you get an apple, sandalwood like or maybe patchouli like blend ( my nose isn’t mature yet to understand the difference) and it is really nice. This fragrance definitely is an executive fragrance and has an office vibe to it but it’s also f-boy friendly and has that F-boy vibe that the girls like. So imagine a corporate executive works had but is also a bit of a hoe. Work hard play hard kinda vibe. Executive and perfect for the office and some nights out
