Apple Pie Meets Crème Brûlée
I received this sample at Pieper with my Dior Jules purchase and thought it was the men's version I was already familiar with. But then I noticed that it said EdP on the label, and it might actually be the women's Eau de Parfum. Luckily, I decided to try it out, and it is clearly not the average men's orange. I haven't tested the women's EdT yet, but this brand-new EdP is quite impressive and a reliable everyday companion and all-rounder for all stylish and spontaneously modern women. However, one must like sweetness, as both apples and crème brûlée are not exactly shy when it comes to sweetness and sugar.

The slightly modified Boss Orange bottle fits well in the hand and is not unattractive. Sillage and longevity are, with a bit of luck, just about in the middle of the league, rather on the decline, as it is a rather thin, shy scent that fades away quickly, after about 6 hours. So, a bit more could have been added here, especially as an EdP. But by now, it should be clear to everyone that EdPs often do not match the strength of a true perfume.

Alongside the sweet green apple in the top note, in the sugar-laden crème brûlée base, there is an extremely inconspicuous heart note with a floral meadow that somewhat reminds one of fresh laundry with a hint of orange. But it's as subtle as a brief breeze at 42 degrees.

A good everyday companion that comes across as stylish, calm, sweet, and naive, showing hardly any perfume strength. For the younger, sweet, inexperienced female generation, it will surely be well-received on normal days and won't hurt anyone. It's just a pity that it doesn't last the whole day, not even a workday.

One shouldn't expect miracles, but with a tempered expectation, one won't be disappointed, rather surprised! Because the scent is a lovely intermezzo for all dessert lovers.

delicious vitamins
Unfortunately, I am not a health-conscious fruit eater - unless the fruits are sweetened afterwards or deliciously prepared.

So, Mama's crispy apple pancakes, topped with cinnamon and honey, always lure me into the kitchen.
I also like to have a scoop of vanilla ice cream with it.

Not exactly what you would find in the Brigitte diet book.
But I am not a diet apostle - rather a connoisseur.

This is where Boss Orange EdP comes in handy for me, as the delightful scent of my favorite dish has been well captured in the bottle.

The apple is warm and soft, wrapped in cinnamon and honey, complemented by a dollop of tart plum jam, surrounded by sweet vanilla.
The orange blossom adds a touch of freshness to the treat, and the olive wood gives an interesting spicy finish.

The scent is subtly gourmand - without being overwhelming.
It has nothing greasy about it, but remains beautifully transparent, even though this is not a case of simple cooking.

Moreover, the longevity is good, and I can enjoy the appetizing aroma for a long time.

Vanilla Ice Cream with Orange Extract ~ 2.0
~ Inspiration ~
Last year, my first comment here on Parfumo was about "Boss Orange." Now I came across a sample of the EDP.

~ Bottle ~
The modern shape of stacked gemstones has been retained. This time the color is a warm rose gold, suggesting a more intense fragrance.

~ Scent ~
Like the EDT, it primarily smells of oranges and vanilla.
Sweet apples, orange, and other white flowers give it a subtle, fruity-floral aura. Sandalwood and olive wood, together with crème brûlée, create a soft, warm, slightly gourmand scent with a caramelized base note.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours (on clothing and hair a bit longer). 2-3 sprays are sufficient, as otherwise it becomes too sticky sweet and synthetic.

~ Occasion ~
A sweet fragrance that fits warmer days in spring, summer, and autumn. Also suitable for work, as it is not overpowering.

~ Conclusion ~
I can't notice a big difference from the EDT. It smells the same and unfortunately fades just as quickly...

Pleasant Surprise
Recently, when I made a detour to my little local perfumery, the saleswoman I trust approached me with a Boss Orange tester while I was wandering through the store.
I wished I could be invisible, because my first and only encounter with the Eau de Toilette from Boss Orange is not exactly a fond memory. Since then, I have always kept a wide berth from it, because who carries a face mask all the time!?!
The only thing I remember in hindsight after that shock was HAIRSPRAY; it took my breath away, and I left the store in a daze...
I have often wondered how this scent can be so popular and beloved that it belongs to the bestsellers. Am I that different?
Well, she came up to me with the tester and must have seen my crouched, curse-promising posture, and waved her arm directly, saying: "No, no, don't be afraid, just try it, it's different from the Eau de Toilette!"
It was obvious to her that I had "fear" of it *smirk*
Hmmm, I would usually spare myself such things, but since she has my trust, I laid down my weapons to give it a chance.
And I must say, it did nothing to me. It started fresh, apple-like, and then transitioned into a delicious, initially fruity, then floral, slightly sweet, caramel crème brûlée; I can only agree with my predecessor on that.
It's probably not a total knockout, but I think it could be an unobtrusive, slightly fruity-floral, deliciously sweet everyday companion.
In any case, I did not find it a punishment, unlike its brother, which is already something. And I will now take a closer look at the EDT, despite my bad memories.
Sometimes it also depends on my mood, the season, or the time of day, and upon a second glance, it can actually be quite nice. Let's see, we will experience it.

The apple doesn't fall far from the sugar
I had a sample of this little fragrance in my Box of Beauty December. The scent starts with a distinct apple note. Then I smell just a hint of flowers, and right after that, the apple falls into the
Crème Brûlée! Sugar - caramel - applesauce with a touch of vanilla and sandalwood.
Unfortunately, it's a short pleasure. The scent doesn't last very long on me....
It's a quite nice gourmand fragrance, but unfortunately a bit weak in terms of longevity.
The bottles from the entire Boss Orange line are really not my style. But taste is what you like.
Best, Kitty17

Starts off as a fresh fruity-floral, but then the vanilla comes in and drowns the fruits to burn out with the flowers.
Sweet!

Actually not sooooo bad. Fruity peach and plum with a warm and soft-creamy vanilla.
Unfortunately very synthetic.

Fruity vanilla! Generally not bad - but if you know one, you know them all! On my skin, very poor longevity for an EDP. NEXT!

Smells like a modern version of Sunset to me. Beautiful warm feminine scent that’s not overpowering but still recognizable.

Starts off fruity - fresh, but develops into something quite heavy and sweet. I think it suits cooler days better.

Lovely fruity scent. I would have really liked it as a teenager.

Doesn't compare to the original! Here, I find the supposedly perfect combination too heavy and therefore unusable.
