Maybe chai isn't for me

This scent opens with strong clove for me, backed by cinnamon and then a little cardamom so it's not sneezey-spicy. Once it dries down though... There's something... I don't know, empty about it. It kind of smells like you got a really nice cinnamon roll from a bakery, and they gave it to you in a cardboard box, and you ate it right away and then a day later smelled the inside of the cardboard box.

I guess I'd say it has a papery quality? Definitely echo the other reviewers that it's not very creamy at all. I feel like this wouldn't suck as a spicy scent for spring.

I will definitely give it another try in a few weeks, because I don't hate it, I just feel that it's lacking.

simply chai

A drier take on a chai that maintains a sweetness and airiness to it. It is missing a lactonic factor to it that is described on their website as a steamed milk but I get none of that here. Nonetheless it’s a lovely simplistic composition of warm spices leading way to woody black tea and hints of soft sweetness and musks. It’s chai done very tamely but in a way I think it works for what it is. Really really enjoyable

Yoga to drink, relaxing, the way home

Very very tasty, lots of spices that radiate warmth, a little bit of freshness - maybe a slice of lemon? Aromatic cinnamon flows through the room, fine vanilla in milk, that warms my heart. The rose is well hidden under this spice bouquet. My thoughts are wandering, cuddly blankets, soft light and I am deep in myself - I call this my soul yoga. A wonderful feeling, I am at home. In the further process the fragrance becomes more woody but very discreet. Like very old wood that has been stored dry for a long time and only subtly releases its earthy scent. Tea aromas of the finest black English leaves give it depth. I would also give this scent to my best friend. For me it has something very loving, I lie in warm and secure arms as if in deep peace and relaxation. The fragrance lasts very long, a great Sillage. The next morning I still have a delicate veil of scent on my skin.
I did not expect it so, thought there is something very heavy coming around the corner. No, it's modern, intense but not foggy. A very noble and fine fragrance experience, has immediately captured me positively.
