Oh Madame, we meet again!

Here I must say that I actually prefer the slightly modified reissue even more than the original! It seems to me somehow softer, lighter, and more pleasant to wear - that sour note that bothered me a bit back then is now gone, and what remains in the reissue is a beautifully radiant, soft fragrance that lasts an eternity. I would almost describe it as linear, with a simple yet unique composition.

How thrilled I was when I read that MaDame is back!

Everything but Madamig...

I wanted to be in my late 20s when I first bought the fragrance. Back then, I associated Madame with something rather conservative and imagined a woman in a suit, high heels, and a pearl necklace with perfectly styled hair.
Madame hit my (fragrance) heart 100% back then; the scent reached me directly, even though it contains rose. Finding summer fragrances has always been difficult for me, but Madame was so pure, clean, and yet special - like freshly hung laundry on a summer meadow. I associate it with wonderful memories of an unforgettable time...young, independent, spontaneous, rebellious, loving, searching, sensitive, loving, creative, emotional, exciting, clear, different,...the fragrance fit perfectly back then and still does today, and it will always remain something special for me. Last week, a large bottle moved back in with me. I still find it fantastic and love this fresh, clean interplay of the individual fragrance notes.

Welcome back

I had put it in my shopping cart so many times, and so many times I left it there. And then a dear friend got me excited about it again, and I had to order it immediately.
I loved "Ma Dame (2008) (Eau de Toilette) | Jean Paul Gaultier," I bathed in it. My heart bled when it was taken off the market. Ma Dame Eau de Parfum was available for a while longer here, but it couldn't compare to the eau de toilette.

So I just opened my package and was catapulted 15 years back into my youth.
Guys, Ma Dame (2024) Eau de Toilette comes so close to its predecessor!! I find the scent is more floral. But that's not a bad thing, it smells a bit more grown-up, and I have grown up too. And yet, the girlie vibes are still there. Dreamy!

I can't say anything about the longevity yet, but the sillage is already great.

Ma Dame Gaultier I'm looking forward to summer

I’m already gearing up for summer and am in the testing phase. Ma Dame is somehow simple, almost linear, no corners, no edges, no detours. Fruity sweetness, without being squeaky or annoying. A candidate that you won’t tire of, no off-note. Unfortunately, I often have that, where there’s some note that bothers me...that’s probably why my collection doesn’t grow, but changes weekly. Let’s talk about the scent: early summer in the city, orange, I would have guessed something berry-like with peach, and here I even like the rose from the house of Gaultier. Musk not comparable to Arabic perfumes. I need this scent...now I know why: three notes.
