scented candle, maybe . . . expensive perfume, maybe, but not for me
Well, it's official: the KM Loukhoums (both Loukhoum and Loukhoum Parfum du Soir) are not my cup of tea.

Parfum du Soir opens on me like cherry cough syrup, then settles into a nice scented candle aroma.

Pros: MASSIVE sillage, MASSIVE longevity

Solid perfume , amazing glue like 48h longevity , little projection
There is not much to say about this fragrance. Its veeeery veeery good, longevity 24hours even after 2 showers on my skin. I dont see this one being feminine, its very similar to Oajan from parfums de marly. If you can wear oajan then you will love this one too. Beastly performance but remains close to the skin ( like a Jo Malone Fragrance if you see what I mean ) with this you will smell delicious but no many people would like to smell like a cake and also not everybody would like you to be smelling like a cake so the final choice is uo to your taste and situations but itself the juice is very solid !

My Treaaasure...
Thanks to Parfumo, I came across this gem at a reasonable price and have been captivated and fascinated since the first test. One thing upfront: I have tried all the Loukhoum fragrances and find this variant by far the best. If you are looking for a distinctive, dark, and warm scent for the evening, like something a bit more unusual, and are willing to invest a small fortune, you should definitely give it a try!
At first, the scent smells fresh, slightly alcoholic, and a little like sunscreen. Just a few seconds later, I forget these associations, and the Parfum du soir increasingly develops into a darker and very appetizing fragrance. I really like the patchouli here, as it does not come across as too masculine and musty but remains consistently soft and feminine. A bit like the silk scarf of a lady who enjoys lighting incense at home. I don’t like it when patchouli is too dominant, as this note tends to push everything else in a perfume into the background. The dosage here is just right for my taste, which is something you rarely find. The main roles in this fragrance are played by an exquisite, dark vanilla and bitter almonds. In the end, for me, Keiko Mecheri's perfume is a more mature and tasteful variant of "Hypnotic Poison," which held the number one spot for me for years. Loukhoum is just as cozy and cuddly as the Dior classic but much spicier and darker.
I find it incredibly important to dose this fragrance extremely sparingly, and not just because of the high price. If applied too heavily, you probably smell like a mix of an esoteric shop and a candy stand at a fair. However, the longevity is truly exceptional. Even the next morning, "Loukhoum Parfum du soir" is still with me and even survives a shower. It has already brought me a wealth of compliments on the first evening, as it simply makes you smell "irresistible."

So far, I have not had any experiences with the oud note of the agarwood tree and have only read about it through Parfumo. Therefore, it was doubly exciting for me to sniff it out, which I finally managed to do thanks to Kankuro's helpful comment. I think it is what gives the fragrance its woody-spicy kick and keeps the sweetness somewhat in check. I detect an almost addictive rubbery, resinous touch. Is that oud? I definitely need to try a few more fragrances that contain this note to confirm.

All in all: I am in love. A scent for the evening, not for every day. Now that summer is slowly approaching, I unfortunately won’t be able to wear it as often, but that’s okay. Some things are just so special that they demand a specific moment and occasion.

A Day in the Life of a Pastry Apprentice
Soon our apprentice will finish work, today he gets to leave early.
In his nose lingers the comforting, creamy scent of the vanilla cream
that he was allowed to prepare for the head pastry chef for further processing.
But now quickly, off with the apron and home.
Today is a special day, he has invited friends over
and promised them a treat they won't forget anytime soon,
after all, he didn't endure two years with his strict master for nothing.
And there's also that girl with the bluest eyes he has ever seen, yes, she will come too, she promised.
Arriving home, he puts the almonds in the oven to roast, he takes them out golden yellow,
chops them up, adds egg whites, dissolves sugar and honey in the pan, and mixes it all with the almond paste.
It smells delicious, full of anticipation for the delighted faces, he pours the mixture into a mold... Oh no, he made too little and the mold is only half full, at home the equipment is simply much smaller than at work. Now he has to hurry.
So, more almonds in the oven.
His phone rings, oh God, it’s the girl with the blue eyes, she’s not going to cancel, is she?
Phew, she’s coming. A burnt smell pulls him out of his thoughts, he rushes to the oven, it’s too late, smoke is already seeping out of the oven door and the almonds are black.
"What am I going to do?" he thinks out loud, "This will never be enough for everyone. I shouldn’t have bitten off more than I can chew."
While frantically looking through the kitchen cabinets, unfortunately, the almonds are all gone, he discovers milk, cream, vanilla pod, eggs, and sugar.
Then he has a brilliant idea, the others will get a crème brûlée and the girl with the blue eyes will get almond nougat...

The scent starts with a very fine creamy vanilla note,
which is followed by a beautiful almost frothy almond note,
but then it smells, due to the oud I think, really quite
burnt, on one hand this prevents the almonds from becoming too sweet and sticky,
on the other hand, I find this note quite overpowering.
In the end, a vanilla, sweetish residue remains.
I had to test it multiple times, I’m not one of those sweet-toothed people, so this scent promised to make me more inclined towards the unsweetened side of all the loukhoum fragrances in this line.
However, I’m also not an oud fan, oud is usually too prominent for me. But since this was the only counterpoint to the sweetness, I experimented with the dosage.
At a normal dose (4 sprays, each on the right and left wrist and neck), the burnt aspect felt too strong for me.
With a subtle dosage (2 small sprays on a cotton pad and then distributed from there), the vanilla/sweet aspect became too much for me.
Maybe I would have preferred it more with patchouli, because this scent is certainly fascinating.
The longevity is very good.
As a wearing recommendation, I would suggest autumn or winter, preferably in the evening. The dosage should be cautious.
It is also quite wearable by men.

Turkish Dessert on Board the Almond Loukhoumotive - Part 3
Alien, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean - clearly everyone knows that in movies, the third part of a series is often the most unnecessary and the worst. It's similar with the olfactory Loukhoum trilogy - even if this is a case of complaining at a high level. And I'm not even sure which of the two 2008 releases came first and whether Soir can really be called part 3. Either way, I wonder why Soir (=Sun?) was included in the name. Soir is the dirtiest, darkest, and most masculine-animalistic Loukhoum, but it is extremely close to the original, which I have already described in detail.

I smell the original 90% of the time - the rest is soft, yet still dirty Oud, more vanilla, more smoke, more tonka, more sex. Unfortunately, the drydown is also somewhat messed up and chaotic. It reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit Absolute, which behaved similarly to the original. Clearly the charred brother and the most masculine Loukhoum.

Bottle: see Parts 1+2
Sillage: sometimes Oud scents are closer to the skin than you think... Still more suitable for 0-degree evenings in winter.
Longevity: Top - 10-11 hours.

A dark conclusion to the trilogy, unfortunately much too close to the original and therefore somewhat redundant and unnecessary. But we know this from The Godfather, Hangover, etc.

Overwhelmingly sensual.. Extreme similarity to SweetOrien.Dream. But nicer & less artificial. Strong, powdery almond sweetness. Mature.

This blend has a phase-wise addictive potential. Oud (definitely included) leads to a deep inner peace. Even during the day .. (-;

Loukhoum - less sweet, spicier, and with more flair - for me, it's clearly the crown of the trilogy!

Strong scent of roasted almonds, so just 1 tiny drop, best applied with a finger behind the earlobes, then it's beautiful.

Oh God, wow is this good! Narcotic. Jammy rose, rich vanilla, bittersweet almond, deep tonka, soft benzoin, and a hint of patchouli.

Alcoholic vanilla that becomes sweeter, softer, and more floral. The powdery almond emerges and remains enveloped in the scent of tonka bean - amazing!

Sweet, Loukhoum/Shervin Gaz, almond+tonka+rose+resin, woody oud. No citrus or bitterness = gourmand, close to the skin, suitable for few occasions - sensual
