Rebellion through softness?
To my nose, this definitely is a powdery cherry-almond and rose scent. It's not the same as Loukhoum and not even very similar, but both are in the same scent family and from the same house, and Loukhoum is such a reference scent for sweet almond and rose that it's hard not to compare these two. I like Rebel Hearts, but I like Loukhoum's special opulence even more.

Rebel Hearts is sweet, but not as extremely gourmand as Loukhoum, and its powdery notes are airier and fluffier.
It starts with a very recognizable amaretto note and a hint of syrupy cherry. It's warm and enveloping, but there is a hint of almost leathery bitterness underneath it, too, which comes from the patchouli. The jammy rose slowly blends in with the amaretto. Before I revisited the notes list I thought there would be some iris in this, because there is a dusting of smooth powder that keeps the scent from going too far into the boozy or syrupy direction.

This is not a rebellious fragrance at all, I find it very pretty and cozy. The only way I can explain the name is that it could describe a rebellion against the crudeness of the world from the depths of a soft and vulnerable heart. But maybe I'm over-analyzing this and the name is just a little off. It's a good scent either way.

Wild at heart
"Rebel hearts" is a fragrance that evokes the image of a jack-of-all-trades in its entire composition, as it can do everything: Fresh. Gourmand. Floral. Earthy. Sweet. Resinous.
Indeed, it must be quite a challenge for any fragrance to replicate this, and perhaps that’s why it’s called "Rebel hearts": It tells the story of rebelling against categories, of thinking outside the box, and of not being pigeonholed.
Yet, it is beautiful. Its most important characteristic: It remains infinitely delicate throughout its entire development. This, however, is textbook-like represented in the pyramid, and it only requires explanations about how long the individual components last:
The citrusy opening is very delicate, in no way comparable to a citrus refresher, as summer fragrances often are. Into this opening flow two components immediately: an almond-like note that indeed comes quite close to Amaretto, but directly blends with a fine, classic rose scent. In this mélange, the fragrance strongly reminds one of fine cakes that play with almond and rose aromas. However, it never reminds one of marzipan, which combines almonds and rose water. This is due to the absence of a sugary impression that "Rebel Hearts" effectively omits. Thus, what is recognizable as a top note in Amaretto, when one does not drink it but only smells from the glass and therefore does not taste any real sweetness, remains dominant from the outset: Bitter almond-like nuances that blend magnificently with the rich, ripe floral abundance of roses. At the same time, however, and this is not immediately apparent, the true heart of the fragrance becomes clear: Patchouli. Undoubtedly, it takes the lead in "Rebel Hearts," pushing itself prominently to the forefront, which never feels intrusive, as the entire fragrance itself remains very, very delicate and rather close to the skin. With patchouli, a bitter, dark depth penetrates this fragrance, which pairs excellently with the dark rose or perhaps liberates it from its spring-like radiance. Thus, the almond rose becomes round and full and velvety, and this impression solidifies over hours with a completely discreet sillage. The gourmand notes are barely perceptible in the dry down; sweetness is absent from the perfume, as they too are weighed down by the silky-resinous amber note. I actually perceive more of a transition to a soft-resinous quality than a stronger vanilla emphasis.
Overall, "Rebel Hearts," as already mentioned, fulfills almost all perfume needs (except for the green-woody ones) and speaks of a new generation of perfume consumers, especially female ones, who are characterized by a truly refreshing nonconformism. Wild at heart, as befits its clientele, "Rebel Hearts" indeed is: through the dominant patchouli note, which turns the world of this fragrance upside down by disappointing all expectations of a floral-sweet fragrance that one might have during the opening, and opposing it with a strong earthiness. A fragrance for patchouli lovers.

Amaretto is awesome stuff, I'm already tipsy, no idea why I like it, but I'm blonde, maybe that's it.

Delicate sweet-floral scent, subtle rose in amaretto cream with a hint of vanilla. My nose is glued to my wrist. Thanks to Lavendel18....

The amaretto note hits me a bit hard, very sweet, very powdery, then floral and amber hints come through and it gets nicer.

For me, it's a semi-gourmand. First marzipan, but with a hint of suede (which fades quickly) then it becomes more...

He wants to please me so much, always showing up in the best amaretto-vanilla light. I'm getting bored. I want to argue.

Starts beautifully citrus-woody-dark-almond-bitter-oud-woody. Becomes mild-gourmand-vanilla-benzoin. Strong + addictive + headache potential.

Best harmony of sour citrus, cherry liqueur, metal rose, earth, and zinc ointment. Sounds strange, but it actually works together.

Rose enjoys the amaretto sunrise with her friend Patch.
Both are grounded and harmonize together.
This love is pleasantly sweet.
