Aquatic perfumes

I guess it's no longer possible to make an aquatic perfume without it smelling like toilet freshener. The association of toilets and aquatic notes is just too strong nowadays. L'Eau Pure smells nice and fresh and lovely, but I don't want my body and clothes to smell like this on purpose. I smell like this after replacing the used up Domestos toilet block with a nice new fresh one.

This is what vacation by the sea smells like

I recently tested this fragrance for the first time in a perfumery in Gran Canaria.

My hotel was right by the sea and every day I enjoyed the view and the air by the sea. The sun was blazing. It was a really hot week.

I like to wander through local perfumeries, get inspired and also like to buy. So one day I ended up at L'Eau Pure and for me, this fragrance is a day at the seaside to spray on. No more, no less. Fresh, a little tart, aquatic with a little mandarin and lavender, a welcome refreshment on hot days. For me, the fragrance is absolutely unisex.

The fragrance was unbeatable in terms of price, so I bought it straight away. It reminds me of my vacation in Gran Canaria and the days by the sea. Only the longevity could be better. I have nothing else to complain about.

Quest for Blue - calm waters

I saw it, presented it nicely in the store and just took it with me. There was something about it that appealed to me, perhaps the fact that it had hardly any reviews.

I liked the fragrance pyramid, so I applied it diligently.

What do you get here? A soft blue, beautiful mandarin in the opening, which even remains part of the composition until the end. As far as a citrusy note is concerned, this is really not common. The second big player is lavender, which is relatively present, calms the whole composition and I like the note here. A little musk in the base, woods for the foundation, nothing wild - very soft and not herbaceous.

An aquatic that doesn't rely on authentic sea freshness, but rather a lavender freshness feeling mixed with a little lemon/tangerine and accessories.

As unexciting as it sounds now, it is a beautiful fragrance and a real pleasure to wear. I think it will fly under the radar with all the Kenzo bamboo pipes, but I like it.

Longevity and silage - silage weak but on the skin you have something especially from the lavender for a long time.
