Only lasts a very short time!

Yesterday I tried the fragrance at DM. It won me over immediately and I bought it. As has already been said here, Alien, but a touch fresher. The fragrance stayed with me for about 2 hours, but when I got home I could only smell it very faintly. Too bad. Unfortunately only something for a brief appearance, no longevity.

Alien, updated version

This Alien Dupe is not only well made and inexpensive. It's even better than the original.
At least that's my opinion.
Because I have the original at home. I bought it on special offer when another local Karstadt store was dying. I must have thought I really needed it. And then never used it because it was just heavy, massive, dark and nauseating - and somehow also seemed outdated to me. Maybe that just happens with classics?
As a joke, I saw the dupe in Rossmann the other day and of course immediately identified it as an Alien allusion. What Alien wants to do, this version does too. Oily jasmine, mystery, sex. Only not so old-fashioned. Not so oppressive, much lighter. Much fresher, more modern and more skillful. And not cheap at all!
Of course, you can tell the price by how long it lasts... Two hours later, it is much weaker. But that's probably good news (for the environment?) for a fragrance with this kind of impact. Elixir is definitely the more suitable, younger Alien for everyday use.

Anyway, the original is just sitting in the cupboard at the moment. While I'm really thinking about buying Elixir. But that would be totally crazy. What do you think?
