Class Leader
With Adeeb, Lattafa once again impressively demonstrates what is possible. I ordered the fragrance online, and when the package arrived, I initially didn't know what I had actually ordered. It was so heavy that I just couldn't make sense of it. When I then unwrapped it and found this fantastic packaging, I was thrilled. Nestled in the precisely cut sides of a real book, which of course was in a slipcase, I discovered the truly beautiful, noble, and solid bottle. What a presentation! The unboxing alone is incredibly fun, and I wonder how something like this is possible for under 18 euros. I have already bought empty (and by no means as beautiful) gift boxes that cost more. Immediately, doubts arose in my mind; with such effort, the only thing that could have been compromised is the content. So I quickly grabbed the bottle, which feels really great due to its weight, and conducted my first test. The really good sprayer (it's getting ridiculous, where's the catch?) envelops me in the first cloud of fragrance, and I can't stop smiling and marveling.
Even the top note evokes that satisfying feeling of well-being that usually only the dry down achieves. Orange and lavender - yes, but I have the impression they are lying on a honeycomb, and this light honey scent runs through the entire fragrance, which I find fantastic. In the heart, I smell patchouli rounded off by a very light rose, which I can hardly perceive here. In the dry down, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood come together with my phantom honey to create a wonderfully cozy finish. Clearly a fragrance for the cold seasons that feels caressing and warming like a fireplace after a winter walk.
The fact that this superhero cheapy also has fantastic longevity and really good sillage perfectly rounds off this fragrance experience. Hats off, Lattafa - with Adeeb, you have impressively showcased your strengths in every area!

The Black-Golden Fragrance Book.....
Or olfactory literature at its finest.
With "Adeeb," I hold a thick book in my hands that has many exciting chapters. Already at the introduction to the content of the "tome," I feel the sensitivity of the "authors." It starts off very intriguingly and somewhat unusually, with lavender and orange as a combination. Here, almost with a detective's instinct, a trail has been laid that invites you to "read on"!
For the rose is already waiting in the background to connect with the duo. This trio now really gets going. ....But wait until it gets dark! The secrets of patchouli penetrate deep into the soul. Grounding, uplifting, and at the same time calming.
Then off we go into a fairy tale forest. The story of sandalwood and amber is told, which unite with fine musk.
"Between the lines," I catch a glimpse of frankincense and myrrh that seem to come from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. This interesting "reading" is truly enjoyable. One hardly wants to put the book down. I want to learn more about the relationships between rose and lavender, a magnificent experience that is not written about everywhere.
About the connection of patchouli with sandalwood, a very mysterious affair!
And the significance of frankincense and myrrh.. (One might consult literature on ancient fragrance preferences) but a slightly mystical aura is clearly recognizable, surrounding the entire scent.
I now set the thick book aside for a moment to simply enjoy the beautiful experiences so far. "Reading on" will happen elsewhere, and my report may be expanded and/or supplemented, surely there are more exciting lines to come :-))

The Scent of Novels and Stories
Adeeb by Lattafa

The name of the fragrance Adeeb means writer in Arabic, derived from "Adab أدب" - literature.
Inexpensive, but a very beautiful and magical scent.

Amazing notes of lavender and orange, followed by tobacco leaves with cloves, cinnamon, patchouli, and warm florals.
At the base, dry tobacco leaves stroll with us, carrying the scent of ink, as if it were a letter or a written story from antiquity.

Then, at the end of the book, the fragrance writes to us the scent of warm amber with incense-vanilla and wood on which rain has fallen.

Adeeb simulates stories and novels.
A beautiful scent for winter, autumn, and cold days.

Oriental Politeness
I loved the bottle first of all. I searched the web for reviews with very little results. I bought it, because it doesn't make bankrupt. The packaging is already worth the money: a book with black covers in which, in a bed cut in the pages, lies the beautiful bottle. I was for an hour very reserved and almost scared to spray. What if I would be overwhelmed by an explosion of oudh and spices, or worse smoke, alcohol and some undefined strong odours I might be repulsed by?!
But eventually I did. I sprayed and hoped.... and my hope came true. It unfolded: a first burst of cinnamon and smoky notes that turn rapidly into dark woods and dry tobacco leaves and cloves. Slowly the woods get a touch of oudh, so fine, almost not there. Thyme and cedarwoods creep in and in the drydown I smell a wonderful breezy carnation with herbs, maybe lavender, so soft like a silk veil. At the end of the day my skin smells like dry tobacco leaves. Still, the overall feeling leans slightly feminine.
It is wearable any time of the year.

Enchanting arabian scent! I am in love

Oriental Dream
The opening was relatively powerful. Very spicy, it reminded me of the scent of oriental markets in the open air. I could perceive a bitter orange very well for about an hour, paired with dried lavender, very interesting, I couldn't stop smelling my wrist!! The rose stays more in the background during the first 1-2 hours and then slowly disappears.
Then it gradually becomes calmer, warmer, smoother, and the vanilla increasingly comes to the forefront, along with the amber and sandalwood, while the orange bids farewell.
The longevity is unbeatable: I can still perceive it on me after 12 hours!!! However, the sillage does not keep up with that; it is rather mediocre. But for a price of just under €25, you really can't complain.

The scent is definitely unisex; both I, female, and my brother enjoy wearing this fragrance very much! I can absolutely recommend it!!

I agree mostly with Fyrentenymar but to me it smells too synthetic and low quality.
Not recommended.

What convinces me here: all the notes are plausible: rose oxide, a bit of lavender, subtle patchouli, an ambered woody base that becomes dull.

Cool, dry, unsweetened, transparent like the fresh morning air over the Oriental bazaar.
Far Eastern spices in all their glory. Clears the mind.

Beautiful, aromatic fougère with clear masculinity. Spicy animalic notes from the 80s paired with initial lavender, then sweeter in the dry down. Wow!

Sparkling embers and blue ice collide. Roses + lavender = great mix! Smoke and vanilla woods follow the dance. Unusual, good.

Starts off spicy with a hint of old gentleman vibe. But then it evolves into a spicy, subtly smoky nose tickler.
