Hairspray meets bouquet of flowers
I stumbled across this EdP at Vivantis by chance the other day and immediately added it to my order. The fragrance pyramid sounded perfect for my girlfriend!
A few days later, this Durt arrived with my CDNIM and was immediately put under the microscope. The first special feature is the fact that the box contains a deodorant spray in addition to the perfume - not from this fragrance, however, but from Najdia, a Rabanne Invictus clone from Lattafa. The second special feature is the color of the fragrance water: the liquid is dark purple in color and looks really classy in its rectangular bottle with a transparent cap.
Mahasin Crystal Violet has an interesting character; once sprayed on, it is inevitably reminiscent of that typical hairspray smell at the ladies' hairdresser. As it progresses, it becomes a little more floral and develops slightly in the direction of Versace Bright Crystal, although I don't think you can call it a clone here. The durability is average, but I didn't expect more for the price and it's enough for my girlfriend.
Conclusion: In addition to all the hyped fragrances from Lattafa, it is refreshing to discover other, rather unknown perfumes from this fascinating fragrance house. The fact that production has been discontinued seems to be a mistake on the part of Parfumo; only the bottle design has been completely revised. I can recommend this fragrance to all ladies who like to smell fresh and flowery and want to wear the DNA of a hairdressing salon on their skin - in the best sense of the word.
PS: The fragrance is advertised by Lattafa as unisex, but for me it is clearly feminine!
