An Alternative to JPG Paradise Garden
When Le Beau Paradise Garden was released, I tested it right away.
I found it neither bad nor incredibly good.
It was a solid designer fragrance that doesn’t go wrong much.
With "Najdia Intense / نجدية | Lattafa / لطافة", Lattafa has brought a dupe of Paradise Garden to the market since last year.
Unfortunately, I can't compare them directly, but from what I remember, they are not identical.
The JPG is simply smoother and of higher quality.
With the Lattafa, I perceive a strong mint note in the opening, which I don't remember experiencing in that form when I tested the JPG.
Along with ginger, and somehow I would have said lemon.
According to the fragrance pyramid, however, it is pineapple and apple.
That could also be right, both are very fresh, and the apple is likely more on the fresh/sour side.
Coconut is completely absent here compared to the OG.
Nevertheless, there is a slightly tropical vibe.
This feeling is enhanced by the marine notes.
As a result, the scent is aquatic and perfect for summer.
Lavender and musk come through well at the end.
However, both notes do not really seem high quality.
What remains is a fresh, slightly sweet, very minty aquatic that, while reminiscent of Paradise Garden, is in my opinion at best an alternative and not a well-executed dupe.
H/S both are good average.
For summer, the performance is more than sufficient.
And it is definitely a men's fragrance, just to clear that up (M80%/20%W).
My conclusion: I would rather stick with the original.
If you don’t have the money but want that JPG PG feeling, then the Lattafa is definitely an option.
I myself am not really convinced by the scent, but I have smelled worse.
Still, I do not recommend buying it.
