Don't always trust the ratings, test it yourself!!!

I was looking for a new summer fragrance for this year and came across MFK Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte. At first I looked at the reviews and was rather skeptical, but when I tested it personally I was immediately impressed. In my opinion, the rating of 7.5 is unfair, as the fragrance simply smells fresh and beautifully clean. If I were to google the word clean, this perfume would come up. The problem is that people think they are getting a fragrance with a 10+ hour shelf life when they spend 185€. I think that's the reason for the rating.

To summarize, I can say that the fragrance is beautiful and I will spray the perfume empty this summer.

Outdoor pool freshness

The best of the Cologne Forte series. No fragrance embodies the feeling of being in an outdoor pool on summer vacation as much as this one. Clean, refreshing water, with minimal chlorine and a delicious lemon ice cream in your hand. That's how I imagine the scenery.

A level of refreshment almost on a par with Davidoff's Cool Water. Someone has to get that right! And the fascinating thing is that it doesn't smell like shower gel, which would be usual in this genre.

Probably the most striking note here is the blackcurrant bud. This gives it a light, green base, on which the bergamot in particular builds in the first few minutes. The mimosa and jasmine remain in the background and are only very slightly perceptible. I don't notice much of the fruity notes.

I initially bought it as a sample because I was looking for something "atypical" from MFK. The bottle immediately appealed to me, as did the notes. And so, at some point, the sample became a whole bottle. Still one of my favorites today when it gets really warm outside!
The only drawback (with the complete Cologne Forte series): The lids are unfortunately made of plastic. Looking at them, I would have preferred glass. But that's complaining on a high level and shouldn't affect its PLV.

The longevity and sillage of this fragrance is unfortunately a little poor. Predictable for a freshie, though. There are certainly cheaper ways to get a similar fragrance.

Fresh/sweet fragrance to enter the niche world

The Aqua Celestia Cologne forte. As we know it from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, a beautiful and timeless bottle, here in the light blue. Sprayer also as known unfortunately somewhat disappointing in contrast to other equally priced perfumes, but what can you do.

Then to the fragrance, a very consistent sweetness due to the fruity notes, perfectly complemented by slightly sour ziric notes from the bergamot. Many compare it to gummy bears, but unfortunately I don't see the comparison here.

The performance is not so strong for a summer fragrance, but still not bad, there are definitely worse (Fico di Amalfi) and better (Imagination). The Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte lasts about 4-5 hours on me, projecting for about 3 hours, after which it is only perceptible close to the skin.

It is a typical unisex fragrance, so it tends neither in the masculine nor feminine direction. I only see people up to around 30 as the target group.
