Like a noble fruity-floral body lotion
Mancera is for me one of the brands which releases only good fragrances. Here at Parfumo, the brand is only moderately popular with many, but I like them very much. I have already tested many of them and there was none that did not appeal to me. I don't own one yet but that will surely change. There were many releases and there should be something for everyone and for every target group. From classic to modern. Modern fragrances predominate as it is a brand that has been bringing fragrances to the market for just over 10 years.
The Aoud range includes 9 fragrances. Some of them I have already tested and found to be good. The Aoud Blue Notes is also a really good companion and a good candidate for purchase.
I have already tested this Aoud Orchid a few months ago. This one made me curious with the pleasant pyramid: coconut, peach, tangerine, vanilla, orchid packed in the aoud concept. That must fit I thought. Correctly guessed. A great scent, although more for ladies.
In order: In the opening, it starts fresh and fruity and creamy. Peach and a creamy coconut note start. Coconut does not stand bare and mixes well with the fruit. Tangerine provides a nice citric-fruity note and keeps it a little lighter. Later on, the orchid makes it much more floral, but keeps that great creamy touch. Throughout the whole process, this fragrance reminds me of a noble creamy body lotion and thus provides a very nurturing touch. The base is woody with a light oriental touch. As Aoud is written in the title, it should be with the orchid as the main actor. But it stays rather in the underground. Otherwise the base is very pleasant with nice sweet-soft notes.
All in all a great cultivated fragrance especially for everyday use. Also from the performance a great everyday scent. Always well perceptible but never too penetrating. Who likes this cultivated creamy touch, could find it here. Who likes the really big Sillagen will be disappointed here.
As I said: I see it more on ladies, but I like unisex scents because everyone should be free to develop their own fragrance preferences. This is not quite unbearable as a gentleman, but should fit the type
