As exotic as a Laura Ashley pinafore
I bought a sample of this mistakenly believing it would be full of the wonderful spices of India, but no, this is a bog standard designer floral musk dressed up in a slick pink Mancera bottle. The slightly sour, powdery florals, the big poofy puffs of musk, the sweet but dull vanillin - it passes as nice and flowery and pleasant in that generic Laura Ashley manner. But it has all been done before, and better, especially by Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent, which this somewhat resembles.

Lieschen Müller dreams of Bollywood
When I read the fragrance pyramid, I thought, "Wow, this is going to be quite a powerhouse," and braced myself to encounter this concentrated Indian scent dream. (Thanks again for the sharing, Miss Smilla!).

Right from the very first spray, I am almost knocked over; all the ingredients mentioned above are vying to penetrate my nose and reach the depths of my scent center. I can't even distinguish which one is leading; I'm just glad I sprayed very cautiously only once (I wouldn't want to be forcibly removed from the open-plan office!). I still have a bit of concern about the vanilla, but fortunately, it has little to do with dessert and reveals itself as a friendly heliotrope flower. Oh, speaking of flowers: in an incredibly short time, this Indian floral dream actually weakens so much that after less than 1 hour, only a sandalwood, exceedingly friendly musk remains! Now I'm absolutely office-appropriate, but the beautiful dream has come to an end! It's almost as if the country girl briefly flirted with the dream of Bollywood and the colorful sari, but then got scared of her own courage and grabbed her favorite wool sweater instead!

I am happy with my decant, but once it's used up, the "Indian dream" will be over for me.

A Bouquet of Flowers
In my test of the wonderful brand Mancera, this one was also included. After about 10 fragrances from this brand, I conclude: A great niche brand with high quality and not overly high prices on a niche basis. This one also caught my attention positively. I ordered a small sample due to the pyramid. Not necessarily for me, but this floral mix sounds enticing, which has also been confirmed.

First of all, about the not optimally chosen name: No, it does not have an Indian touch. This name is totally inappropriate. The reason for this name is probably the indicated Indian Jasmine. Jasmine is definitely perceptible, but whether Indian or from elsewhere, it doesn't really matter. Anyway, one shouldn't let names influence them too much.
The bottle is, like almost all Mancera's, very pretty. Here in gold, pink, and white. Totally lovely and definitely an eye-catcher.
The scent is an extremely floral fragrance. Why is quickly recognizable: The top and heart notes are almost exclusively flowers. I quite like to wear a floral scent, and I love feminine-floral fragrances on women. Especially Jasmine. My favorite note in women's fragrances, as this note comes across as so attractive and feminine. Therefore, I perceive this scent as only conditionally unisex, and wearing this as a man is quite extravagant.
The floral notes are easily detectable. In the opening, there is a lot of Heliotrope and Geranium. The gentle Orange Blossom is also present, but not as overpowering as in many fragrances. The scent is never too much and comes across as rather floral-clean and well-groomed. The main note of this fragrance is also the namesake: Indian Jasmine. Whether it smells Indian, of course, you can't tell, but a wonderful Jasmine note is very pleasant and sensual here. For a long time, it remains floral but not as extremely heavy as one might expect. The mix is well balanced. The base is very ordinary but also pleasant. Wood, Musk, and Vanilla. For me, from start to finish, a pleasant companion for a beautiful, well-groomed lady.
The performance is quite good. The sillage is pleasant, not too overwhelming and also not too weak. Longevity is also fine at about 6-7 hours.

Overall, a great release that I can only recommend to everyone. Those who do not like overly floral fragrances do not need to test this scent. Quite suitable for everyday wear, as it accompanies very pleasantly.

Super feminine..
I really like the scent, but it’s still not for me.. Too floral for my taste, but very beautiful, and if you’re into floral fragrances, it’s a clear recommendation..

One of the few scents from Mancera that, in my opinion, has a “soul”.. What kind of woman or what do I associate with this scent...?? A super beautiful classic woman.. She wears very high-quality trousers and an expensive cashmere cardigan. She is very well-groomed and very popular.. She has long hair, which is tied back in a strict ponytail.. She is over 30..

About the scent..
Rose geranium is very clearly detectable as the top note. Unfortunately, I can hardly smell the orange blossom. The heart notes are really beautiful and separate from the rose geranium within 15 minutes.. Jasmine unfortunately plays the leading role; I’m not a fan of jasmine, but when the scent transitions from the heart to the base, beautiful and super creamy amber notes come to the fore.. The base is the most beautiful part.. The combination of sandalwood with musk and vanilla is really lovely, creamy, and soft..

Sunset Over Fields
The scent initially comes across as opulent. With all the aromas that wash over you, it first seems spicy. After a few minutes, you can smell the geranium and also a hint of orange blossom. The journey continues to "L'important c'est la rose, crois moi" and jasmine.
The jasmine lingers a bit and then blends with musk and the earthy scent of sandalwood. Towards the end, it becomes a bit powdery.
A very feminine floral fragrance that, however, does not last long on the skin and is rather subtle. Unless you spray generously.
I particularly enjoy its dry down as I am a fan of jasmine and powdery perfumes.
It reminds me of a red-pink sunset over green fields in the middle of summer. When the air starts to cool in the evening.
And exactly on such an evening, it can be worn well. Delicate like a breeze.
I see this scent more suited for women over 30.

Lots of flowers. Heliotrope and jasmine in abundance. Plus geranium, rose, and a very soft-sensual base. Very, very pleasantly floral and light.

Indian? No. Dream? Definitely. Very delicate vanilla & hardly sweet. Jasmine is very prominent. H/S Mancera is atypical. Reminds me a bit of Chloe Love.

Initially mainly fruity-sweet rose with a slightly sour-green touch.
In the drydown, there's also orange blossom on an amber-sandalwood-musk base.

Clean jasmine meets pressed roses and opulent musk.
Clear feminine tendency.

A creamy jasmine scent that definitely has something of Alien, but at first it unfortunately comes off quite musty. But patience! It's worth it.

A mix of Kenzo Amour and Blanche Bete, just more greenish. Beautifully feminine soft scent, but Indian? 100% No.

Floral, soapy, rosy, musky. I also smell teen notes. A feminine scent for all year round, light, friendly. Not similar to Femme Elixir.

So far my deepest disappointment. Very synthetic, thin, lasts only 2 hours on the skin. Despite positive reviews, for me NEVER.
