Fresh Oud?

I received a sample of this wonderful perfume through a sharing here in the Souk. A big thank you to Fabian for the professional handling.
I had never smelled a fresh oud fragrance before, but the combination of fresh, citrus notes and the spicy oud is something I really like! I could hardly imagine it that way.
It does have, as others have described, a certain similarity to Bleu de Chanel or Versace Dylan Blue, but I also detect something like Noir de Noir by Tom Ford.
If you like these fragrances and are looking for something with its own twist, you are certainly in the right place.
The projection of Oudessey is quite good, although it is not a beast like some other Montale fragrances.
However, it is very versatile and can be worn in summer as well as winter for almost any occasion. You probably won't run into any trouble wearing it at work either.
A truly successful fragrance with, in my opinion, a distinctly unique DNA.

Oudy...what?

The first seconds after spraying: Barbershop / Aftershave + deodorant in a very high quality. After that, woody, fresh, masculine, slightly sweet & slightly powdery

For me, we have a classic designer compliment getter DNA here, but in something more high-quality and not so synthetic. So nothing new!

Longevity on my skin is very poor for the price...after 6 hours it was over.

Tom Ford Oud Wood has more to do with oud than this fragrance here...really a shame!

I think people who like YSL Y EDP, Armani Code Parfum, Acqua di Gio EDT/EDP will enjoy this scent. Due to the longevity, I would rather reach for the other fragrances, as they last longer on me.

An Aquatic Oud with a decent pinch of pepper and somewhat aromatic. It gets a bit better later, but leaves me cold.
