Signature scent worthy

For me, Jus de rose is absolutely right - this perfume is very beautiful and definitely worthy to make it your signature. It smells clean, fresh and elegant! Although I have heard that some people find it similar to Valaya and Fleur Narcotique, i find that Levant can stand on its own. It lacks the somewhat screechy peach note of Valaya and also has a certain zest that Fleur Narcotique does not have. It is most similar to Fleur Narcotique but because of its better price and performance, I personally prefer Levant over Fleur Narcotique - sorry Hailey Bieber!

Lovely and fresh but not full bottle worthy

I bought a 10 ml of Levant about 6 months ago when I was on the hunt for the perfect orange blossoms. After finally having used up a 10 ml I think my mind is made up -- this is not full bottle worthy for me.

It should be first said that Levant is equally balanced between orange blossom and peony atop a lovely ambery base. Fresh and feminine, it's a real pretty girl scent and I could see it being worn 365 days a year/signature scent worthy for the right woman.

For all it is joyful though in the dry down, there's a screechy hairspray quality in the opening that I can't get over. It reminds me the Got2b Happy Hour Hairspray. Which, while nice, I'd rather just buy the hairspray vs paying Ormonde Jayne prices. I more or less enjoyed my travel size but I do not see myself repurchasing.

Effortless citrusy, floral goodness

An effortless fragrance, this one captures your attention due to its well crafted notes and how well the notes blend with each other. There's a beautiful beginning made with tangy, sweet and bright citrus fruits: a sweet refreshing spritz that remains throughout a good portion of the fragrance which is very nice. There's a subtle, fresh rose that brings depth and links itself to the middle notes. After that, we have lovely and delicate white florals with a peony note. Everything stays sophisticated and elevated. Peony and roses are the strongest notes on my skin along with the subtle citrusy notes I found at the top. Drydown becomes warm with the amber, but also a little bit musky and woody. Not too strong or overpowering, it ends the fragrance beautifully as the citrusy goodness merges with the bottom note.

I do have to say I wasn't expecting much out of this fragrance, but I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Definitely signature worthy and a lovely addition to a collection, I'd wear this fragrance during spring and summer for a citrusy / floral pick-me up. No real reason why it won't be making it into my collection apart from the fact I need to be more severe with the bottles that enter my collection. I'm not a rose girl and this fragrance has roses, which is the only reason why I decided not to go for a full bottle.

Another White Floral

This is a nice citrus opening with white florals. The orange opening is interesting but unfortunately it doesn't last very long and quickly moves into somewhat generic white florals with a weak dry down. There really isn't much to say about this fragrance, other than it feels like these perfume houses are not putting in any effort when it comes to their white floral fragrances. This doesn't inspire me in anyway. This doesn't stand out, doesn't really last long (it lasted about 3 hours on my skin), and doesn't have any projection. Its $45 for 10ml and $215 for 88ml. The 88ml definitely isn't worth it but maybe the 10ml is if you only kinda like white florals.

Wearing a long linen dress

Levant smells like a white floral field that has been sprayed with a powdery orange substance so now the flowers smell fluffy, citrusy, and really fresh. This is the fresh out of the shower scent that would be a staple for those who don't have a ton of "clean and fresh" perfumes. I mainly wear clean, fresh, and musky perfumes so I wouldn't buy a full size for the high price tag since I have options, but wouldn't mind it as a gift! Performance is decent if you overspray and this is so obviously inspired by Fleur Narcotique.
