A popular perfume by Profumum Roma for women and men, released in 1996. The scent is earthy-spicy. The longevity is above-average. It is still in production.

Cold Elegance
Tundra - cold vastness punished by even colder wind. Gray skies above, permafrost beneath. This scent really evokes me that inhospitable place. It started with cold mint and earthy patchouli, reminding me of Icelandic lichen pastilles. Musk gradually amps up, resulting in more elegant olfactive composition. In the base some sweet note shows up, maybe ylang ylang or vanilla. Beautiful and peculiar composition. Surprisingly wearable.

An Otherworldly Beauty
A very rare patchouli, probably my favorite so far. It's authentic in a way that it captures the medicinal aspect of patchouli with its opening, but then it becomes light and almost ethereal when sniffs of mint and musk strike in. What I love the most about it is definitely from its middle phase till its last minute. Perfectly balanced that it evokes the feeling of standing in awe to a grand scroll of landscape ink painting. It definitely gives off a glance of the windy wildness, but meanwhile the musty moss and soil make it super grounded and soothing. It's not that intrusive as a patchouli if you're concerned about that, even though it lasts +8 hours on my skin. I wear it on a daily basis and my friends always compliment me. I bought it in Rome and now it's almost an olfactory marker of Rome for me.

May Attract Ghosts (or Repel Mosquitos)
I'm not sure if this "Thundra" is a winter perfume, symbolic of melting ice on the Tundra. Or if it's a summer smell, symbolizing the humid earth during a thunderstorm. Either way, this scent is vivid and mystifying.

The first note I smell is fresh cut lavender. I now realize this may just be the fresh, icy note of mint paired with herbaceous patchouly.

There is also an incredibly vivid petrichor. It is not an overly wet, or concrete aroma. Instead, it feels more "humid." Like the smell of a still-humid thundershower. There may even be a bit of mossiness to it.

Overall, this fragrance feels very cold, damp and somewhat soothing. I would say it's rather spa-like and may even seem "medicinal" to some. For me, it is calming and meditative.

I most recently wore a sample of this to bed in the ancient Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood. I had my first ever paranormal experience that night. Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe the heavy atmospheric scent of damp places is attractive to the spirits. Or maybe it's just an old hotel with electrical issues. Who knows!

I also suspect this combination of oils might repel mosquitos (haven't tested yet) so it may become my go-to summer fragrance for outdoor activities like camping. Needs to be experienced.

Meditative Patchouli
Surprisingly, my favorite from the brand and I've smelled almost all of them. I thought I would gravitate towards the ambers or maybe more of the popular ones, but no. This is a very unique patchouli indeed. Minty, smooth, musky patchouli, and it is one of the most serene fragrances I've come across. There is something so calming about this. Comes off to me as a bit cold, a bit damp in a way, leafy, but oh so therapeutic. Not sure what season I'd wear this in. I'm almost leaning towards... whenever the hell you want. It's not a beastmode scent in terms of projection so I think this could suit any situation.

Deceleration for Brain and Nose!
Do you know that feeling, when it gets colder, you tend to wear heavier fragrances, often oriental or vanilla-sweet, but after 3-4 days, I've had enough and I need something fresh and masculine to "reset"?!
Since Profumum seems to only know two categories, gourmand-sweet and herb-wood-fresh, leaving the salty-marine Acqua di Sale aside for now, I've ventured into fresh scents, especially since my experiences with Victrix were very good.
Thundra is a newcomer, a decelerator for the mind and body. Thundra is for a late autumn forest without bright colors, damp leaves, mossy, earthy, bark covered in moss and lichen, mushroomy, truffle-like, invigorating, fresh-ethereal. A blend of Green Irish Tweed, Victrix, and Ichnusa.
It's not a fragrance that exudes charm or begs for attention, yet it is very fascinating. However, it is not a sauna infusion herbal mix like In the Woods. And yet it smells of wellness, more Scandinavian than Southern European. It has a cooling effect without being soulless. Patchouli gives it a hint of sweetness and a lot of earthiness, and in the end, I perceive it as balsamic-creamy with a touch of wood, at least that’s what I think I recognize.
If you've had enough of vanilla, oud, oud-rose, oud-rose-saffron, gingerbread, fairground sweetness, apple, and cheesecake scents, then Thundra is the perfect fragrance for you; at least it has this soothing effect on me... I should almost get my meditation cushion out... in this sense.. ohmm...;-)!

Oh yes, the longevity and sillage are great, but not monstrous!

It started so brave - felt the forest, resinous tree bark. Fell into strong patchouli. Feels natural, trustworthy, comforting. And strong.

Calming, spa-like fragrance with notes of mint and lavender, juxtaposed against a humid petrichor reminiscent of damp stone after a storm.

My go-to on a rainy mild day. So clean and pretty and cozy. Caught in the rain in an herb garden.

Tje most feminine musk ever smelled. Longlasting warm, sensuelle musk. Not animalic.

A rather thick and dirty, musty spicy-earthy Fall fragrance, balanced by a fresh and cold, herbal spicy-green opening. More masculine.
