Noble sugar water

Acqua e Zucchero - a fragrance that I wanted to test for a long time. Overall, the brand Profumum Roma seems very worth testing, even if the prices are quite lush like so many niche brands. Sometimes it is worth it. The pyramids are very interesting. Also, many sweet fragrances in it, which are rather limited in Italian brands.
This Acqua e Zucchero seemed most interesting to me because of that great name. Water and Sugar. The small but great pyramid also sounds promising. Even though my expectations for an everyday masculine fragrance were towards 0 I wanted to test this scent. Done towards the end of last year and I must say: I'm in Love. One thing first: If you could get diabetes from a fragrance, this would be a candidate for it. The zucchero in the title is sooo present. A nightmare for sweet-muffle.
Bought myself an 18ml travel bottle in the meantime. Unfortunately, as always, the small bottles are very overpriced, but 100ml as a man over 30? Not worth it. I can recommend this large 100ml flacon for young men or even teens. For ladies, the really fits from young to old and even goes quite well in everyday life. For seasoned men almost exclusively something for dates, nightlife or a cozy winter evening cuddled up relaxed.
Sugar is main program in this fragrance. Scares off many, I find him, however, extremely noble and he creates a very nice flair. Also the Acqua in the name fits the Zucchero. It never gets too sticky or overbearing. This makes for a balanced little water, which is still definitely meant for cold days. The desire for very sweet is just definitely more on cold-dark days there. The noble sugar water is joined by great red fruits. Smells very berry and fits 1A in this sweet robe. In addition, vanilla and orange blossom, which gives an extremely noble touch. The vanilla is not as present, more of a cotton candy sweetness. It creates a wintry flair.
Performance is gourmand-worthy and also worthy of the price. Overall, you can smell that this is a high-quality fragrance and not just any fragrance from the department store. Sillage and durability are really good and well prepared for crispy klate temperatures.

Especially ladies who like very sweet fragrances I can recommend this fragrance. He just has sex appeal and creates a pleasant mood.

In a trance...

Acqua e Zucchero has not passed me by without consequences, as almost all fragrances before him have done.

One spray on the inside of the wrist and I feel like I am in a trance, I am incapable of action! Captivated by this vanilla-sweet soft scent, I can't think clearly anymore but am forced to inhale this scent as long as possible, too much is the fear of suddenly not being able to perceive it anymore.
This fear is completely unfounded, he does not leave me, even after hours! The next day I still notice him but of course he has retreated a bit, my senses are no longer clouded like the day before, I can think clearly again! Do I want a clear head? Definitely no, so I spray renewed and find myself in a pink cotton wool world. I lie on the beach, which is made of fine vanilla syrup grains, the sea is blue but only dyed with food colouring, because I can smell the sweet, warm and delicately fruity water! The fluffy clouds in the sky - like cotton candy - are close enough to touch....

Apparently the same as me, because her eyes are half closed and her nose is still moving. She stands before me as if rooted to the spot and seems to be in a trance... Can there be such a thing? Valerian is not part of the perfume ?

Maybe you should not wear the scent in public, the danger that everything around you stands still for 3 minutes is very high!

It is not a "Oh, you smell great" fragrance but a "when you are near me, I feel safe and infinitely happy" fragrance!

Oh you sweet candy cloud!

The fragrance starts for me smelling of bergamot, reminds me of the bergamot in Jo Malone "Earl Grey" . For whatever reason, I just smell bergamot. It's not really mine. At the beginning I perceive the sugary one only slightly.
Later the bergamot note fades away for me and what remains for me is a smell that reminds of aniseed and the sugary, sweet note.
Aniseed is actually not mine either, but although I'm actually a "head note fetishist", this scent has captivated me. I only smell the anise-like when I sniff close to my wrist. Once sprayed, a fine sugar cloud surrounds you all day long, which is sweet, but by no means too intrusive or causing headaches. The sweet one is also quite natural. With "cloud" by Ariana Grande I get sick. That is also sugary, but different. This one is pleasant. Once sprayed on, it lasts until the next day. Even the clothes smell like it for a long time. The Sillage is above average, also the durability. I prefer to smell it on the Lords of Creation, or better said, on a ;) than on me, but I'm already thinking about including it in my collection. I think it fits well in spring, autumn, winter, or in one of those 2020 summers when it's not really warm/hot. I think the fragrance is worth an investment! Thumbs up! :))

A quartet creates an incredible trio

Once upon a time, there were 4 siblings from Rome who had big plans. Their vision was to create fragrances that would smell so seductive and pure that no mortal would be able to resist the noble essences. And they succeeded. The fragrance variations, infused with loving Italianità, have been conquering the world since 1996. It seems as if this renowned quartet has made it their mission to pack memories, emotions and certain atmospheres into their - shall we say - rather simple flacons. A grandiose tinkering with simple essences, so to speak, to bring to life a composition that evokes memories and associations through purity.

In our pretty capital city of Chur, there is a tiny little niche perfumery in a small wood-paneled corner of a drugstore that has been lovingly decorated. the store is called "Sinnesdüfte" (sensory fragrances) and these senses are bursting as soon as you cross the woody threshold. Heaven on earth. There are valuable and informative details about fragrances everywhere, individual essences in small bowls, coffee beans are ready to be separated from the fragrance loop if you have sniffed too wildly. A guarantee for immediate sobering up. Sober enough to explore the one or other fragrance.

Aqua e Zucchero. As if life were only black and white. Not some far-fetched name, but quite simple. Water and sugar. Aqua e zucchero is grace itself. If we take a closer look at the actual ingredients, the fragrance should actually smell different. Or did the noble perfumers simply succeed in creating precisely this sweet and pure temptation with the tailor-made dose of orange blossom, forest fruits and vanilla? Lots of sugar and few forest fruits, a hint of orange blossom and lots of vanilla. It is a comforting fragrance that takes me back to my childhood and reminds me of unforgettable vacations in Italy.

For us people from Graubünden, Italian-speaking Switzerland and the infamous boot are just a stone's throw away. In 3 ½ hours we reach Milan with around 120 on the speedometer, in 5 hours we can even see the sea. Yes, yes!

Here it is. Whoosh. Aqua e Zucchero. Can you smell and feel it too? Not black or white, but the entire color palette and facets of life are represented here. Where families sit together at large tables and eat their typical pasta together, like each other, laugh heartily together and drink vino, support each other and pull each other up at the same time. Roaring laughter, red-cheeked children, happy people. I see a mystical Venice, a Firenze steeped in history, many beautiful beaches with the incomparable sound of the sea. Heavy Amarones, Sassicaias and Ornellaias pile up in front of my mind's eye like a genie in a bottle. Oops, now I'm no longer sober.
