rich mall rats
this scent evokes to me an upper-class teenage girl mall rat. the kind of scent you'd smell walking past a group of girls with louis vuitton murakami bags over their shoulders and victoria's secret bags in their hands. quite heady and almost even vintage. very strong peony on my skin (of which I'm not the biggest fan). I can smell it on my skin for about 3ish hours, but it doesn't project much past the 1 1/2 hour mark. very expensive hairspray.

gentle floral
This fragrance surely is as delicate as it's name suggests. Sampling (2ml) this fragrance has taken place between showering and snuggling into crisp, clean sheets. A sweet, calming, and fleeting (*weirdly charming for this scent*) floral musk. It brings images of soft powder, and gentle bubbles in a candlelit bath. This has been more of a ritual experience for me. I am savoring my sample. I am not sure if I will eventually justify a full bottle, seeing as it is such a gentle fragrance that I would use before bed. If money were no object, she would proudly sit on my nightstand.

seraphim’s shampoo
Giddy. Sweet. Hyperfemme. Regime des Fleurs seems to excel at these floral gummy scents, and I think Glass Blooms is the crown jewel of such. A princess perfume if I’ve ever smelled one. It’s the candied Victoria’s Secret body spray of your youth, but matured and moneyed, now anointing the likes of prima ballerinas.

Glass Blooms is the sort of scent I’d ordinarily hate: a syrupy falsetto with angel wings. And we did start off on the wrong foot, as it opens with this manufactured bubble bath cloud. However, after a few minutes it loosens into something muskier, sipping fizzy Riesling instead of pure Ramune. Don’t hate her just because she’s pretty.

I wish I could be more of a Glass Blooms girl (air sign, Baby Spice, dressage), but I think I'm far more Nitesurf Neroli (fire sign, Sporty Spice, Western).

Mental Snapshot: Lavender gummy jewel. Girls' girl. Pearl tiaras, canopy beds, lock-and-key diaries. Such a horse girl she’s pure unicorn. She 100% wore faerie wings to school. Olympic medalist figure skater. She spritzes this and sparks a Sailor Moon transformation sequence.

Tl;dr: seraphim’s shampoo

the most beautiful girl in the world
Glass Blooms by Regime des Fleurs is absolutely exquisite and I wish I could come up with the words to tell you just how exquisite it is but instead, all I can tell you is that it conjures the essence of the most beautiful woman in the world, or at least I thought she was, in 1982 when I was 6 years old. And also she wasn’t a woman, she wasn’t even human, she was a plastic doll made by the Kenner brand. A Glamour Gal. Her name was Shara. You can smell the pearly musk mallow, milky ambrette and cognac in the memory of her lustrous, opalescent hair and in her sleek shimmery gown, a vision of frosted starlight, cool, aloof lily of the valley and pale peony, delicate and dappled with dew on a spring morning when the chill is still bright and hard in the air. When I wore Glass Blooms this evening, I felt every bit as elegant and enchanting as I felt it must feel to be a Glamour Gal like Shara. Who, though Kenner has been defunct since 2000, I can find still-in-package on eBay for 24.99…which is a better deal than a bottle of Glass Blooms, at $225. If I’m being honest, though, I think I need both of them.
