Is this what Stevie Nicks smells like? Probably. I bought a sample of this based on the name and bottle alone, because I'm a spooky bitch that is easily swayed by good marketing. I was not disappointed. It's got spices and resinous patchouli, what more could you ask for? Perfect scent for the fall and winter, or anyone who wants a mysterious, witchy air about them.

Cozy yet witchy

I admit it took me a while to like this scent, but now I LOVE it. At first, it can come off a little too acidic, the same way vintage perfumes can, but in the drydown it softens nicely. It's spicy sweet and has this witchy element without being off-putting. Perfect for autumn!

Admittedly, it doesn't project or last super well (which for the high price, is a little insulting), but I prefer softer scents anyway, so it works for me. This perfume is also very receptive to layering, even mixing it with certain fragranced lotions will alter the smell for a good hour or so.

Favorite Holiday Scent

SO warm and cozy, spicy, resinous. The perfect fall/winter scent. This is Angels’ Share’s more mature, ambery cousin. nnTook me specifically to this holiday store my mom and I would go to “up north”. Yummy candles burning with an apple cider in hand. I hear the song “home for the holidays” play when I wear this. Yes the name “Blood Spider Orchids” makes you think ghoulish Halloween. Rather, I get Thanksgiving and Christmas/Winter holidays!
