Beautiful and Melancholy

What a shame this was discontinued because it's one of the most beautiful violet heavy floral fragrances I've ever smelled. This is a cold, serene, and melancholic scent. I believe the rye note makes it slightly woody, the tonka adds a small amount of sweetness with the creamy orris rounding it out. Willows is one of those fragrances that evokes a sense of comfort for those who enjoy overcast, foggy days and shaded wooded paths - not to be confused with sadness, but rather nostalgia and memories past. Regime des Fleurs does a wonderful job of creating fragrances that feature the beauty of nature; they're neither masculine, nor feminine. Willows is a fragrance for anyone who loves powdery, calming florals and I really hope this fragrance is re-released in the future! It is truly one of my absolute favorites and I'll treasure my one bottle for as long as it lasts.

The coziest bed scent

This is my favourite scent to wear to bed. It's not too gourmand but has a clean smell to it. It smells like freshly washed clothes with baby powder is slightly sweet and very powdery. The way it smells on my worn nightshirts is divine and makes me feel so comforted and save. I don't think i would wear this outside though as it can be cloing for those that don't like powdery scents.

Cool-powdery fragrance fabric with inner warmth

Fine and noble, warm floral through mimosa, fresh carrots, iris elegance.

The warmth is enhanced by an unusual note with a grainy structure, mealy and crispy, which the pyramid suggests is rye. Herb-flavored. Alongside tonka, but not really sweet. This texture roughens the powder a bit, while tonka makes it round and slightly sweet.

The iris gives it a grip that reminds me of Bois Farine, but not quite as mealy. Willows remains bright and silvery when worn, sparkling and glistening with a few dew drops in the sun.

The fragrance conveys to AugustA a kind of cool powdery satisfaction, and the effortless beauty and inner warmth of this fragrance fabric please AugustA extraordinarily well. Very artfully composed, this cool and warm facet. Iris lovers who find Bois Farine too experimental or simply too much "bread" should definitely give this one a try. Earth and sky are still present, and the familiar gray-green elegance of the iris comes wonderfully into play. A true highlight!
