barbed orchid
Creamy, jungly spice. The fanged vanilla to Toor Toor’s toothy tuberose. Despite the chamomile and almond milk this is not a sleepy scent. If anything she is kinda ~* spoicy *~. Green Vanille is a textural one; the chamomile leans sharply herbal, stems and all, and the hazelnut feels raw and whole. It’s impressive how RdF can take traditionally angelic notes – like vanilla and tuberose – and make them feel secretive and wild, but this one personally wasn’t for me. Nuanced on skin and lasts a good long day in fabric, though.

Mental Snapshot: A Mayan Revival Frank Lloyd Wright mansion. Enter Lara Croft, CEO. Her handshake is smooth and warm, but also the prelude to a judo throw.

tl;dr: snarling flower

slithery lady boss
Cold, coiled, calculating. A soupçon of weaponized sweetness. Wilhelmina Slater corner office with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, fashion dungeon once her interior decorator works their dark magic. Absinthe-laced champagne vanilla, green and subtly herbaceous, aromatic poison in crystal stemware. Dusty-woody-musky shadows, slithery spice as hissed barbs between bathroom stalls. Mean girls who devoured high school bones and all, used losers' broken phalanges to pick their teeth; earned their MBAs in rancid witch she-devilry and leveled up into the cuntiest of lady bosses; perfected the art of smiling while sliding knives between ribs and stabbing square in the middle of the back while smiling with their perfect veneers. Creamy almond undertones, just enough sweetness to mask bitter herbs. Fake pleasantries/ menacing undercurrent, espionage in every conversation, veiled threats disguised as small talk. How's business this quarter? How are your kids? I'll cut a bitch. I'll strike when you least expect it. More canapés?

Herbal Medicinal Vanilla
Regime des Fleurs is probably one of my favorite houses ever, they are so imaginative and really all of their creations are divine.

As I understand it the creator Alia is not really into vanillas or gourmands for the same reasons I am. I have a really hard time with these fragrances, as often they're too sweet and too sugary, which I understand is a lot of the attraction, but sometimes I want to smell sweet, but without suffocating myself.

Green Vanille is the perfect vanilla for people who are not into sugary sweet fragrances. I will say that if you are expecting a straightforward fragrance that highlights vanilla this probably isn't for you and if you hate herbal or medicinal scents also probably not for you. Green Vanille is really a chamomile fragrance to me, it's sweet, slightly earthy, floral and herbaceous. The almond milk and hazelnut give it a little creaminess and a little nutty oomf, but by no means does it smell like either specifically. Benzoin and woods make it sweet and dry, but not sugary. Of course there is vanilla in this, but its so masterfully blended into a smooth herbal remedy, its really calming, while still being a flattering intriguing scent.

I definitely wouldn't wear it in the summer because I think it's still sweet and creamy enough to be a little much in the hottest months of the year, but Fall/Winter/Spring I wear this all the time.

my nose betrays me, i want to love this
Vick's Vapor Rub? Tiger balm? Carmex? I am not sure why, but this is not at all what I imagined based on reviews and note listings. I ordered a small sample from LuckyScent and have sniffed it on my forearm throughout the day. This is my first smell of anything from Regime des Fleurs. I have been hoping for the creamy and woody notes to become apparent, but they have not. There is a medicinal bitterness. An animalic oud, smelling of an antique perfume that has evaporated into a brown syrup. Reminds me of Chanel No. 5? Please let me know if anyone feels this is remotely on base to what you've experienced with this fragrance.

Earthy, Green, Chewy Vanilla
Green Vanille isn’t a sugary gourmand (we have enough of those); it’s vanilla in its raw, textured form—nutty, green, and quietly radiant. I don’t get any medicinal nuances, just a distinctly natural, green, and herbal character.

The opening feels earthy, fresh, and a little untamed. Green hazelnut and almond milk take the lead, lifted by blue chamomile and a subtle trace of spice.

As it settles, the vanilla unfolds slowly—warm, almost resinous, and never cloying. The hazelnut lends an almost chewy texture, making the scent feel tactile and grounded.

Projection and longevity are low to medium. Overall, it’s one I reach for on days when I want to feel close to nature.

A unique vanilla for sure! Slightly sweet and floral, but leans strongly into the almond milk-like scent.
