You are certainly good and have your supporters, but it won't work out with us anymore...
Hello everyone,
Today, I want to talk about the H - The Exclusive Parfum pour Homme.
I really took a little while (several weeks or even months) to think about whether I should write this review...., but at the end of the day, I do help xx people by stating the negatively charged truth! Besides, I would also feel really strange if I rated most fragrances relatively well and didn't mention certain ones...
Before I get to the actual scent, the sprayer, cap, bottle, and overall packaging design is generally mega! As is almost always the case with the company, you can count on it = Thank you!
Now to the scent:
A little preface - I somehow feel that ROJA was heavily inspired here. I want to say that I don't find this bad! Why some people see it this way is a little mystery to me....
Companies like NISHANE also like to do this and look "left and right" = they get inspired and have their own signature, and they combine this with the idea, and here it's similar because I really get extreme vibes from two fragrances. On one hand, Plum Japonais and on the other, Jubilation XXV Man (but a veeeery old batch), and this as inspiration only with the craftsmanship of Roja, resulting in H - The Exclusive Parfum pour Homme.
At the end of the day, it's a spicy, slightly oriental scent with a lot of plum, a bit of woodiness, although a large part of the notes never actively comes to the fore.
Do you like plums = test it!
Don't like plums = avoid it/run away!
I find it so-so... (in itself), yet I wanted to get to know it!
But I shouldn't have necessarily done so....
Why?
Some people here see it the way I do, and others perceive it completely differently (which is perfectly fine!). I, for one, find it really very musty, quite unpleasant, unattractive, and disturbing. I had 3 or 4 different samples, and yes... it varies...., sometimes more, sometimes less. But this very overripe and musty plum is always there...
For example, "Indochine | XerJoff" also works with an overripe strawberry, but that fragrance never has this vibe...
H/S.... is like the current Jubilation XXV Man (from 2022) so-so in the good range.
How does it come across...?
Very modest! The H - The Exclusive Parfum pour Homme is so far one of the most modest for me..., unfortunately.
Recommendation = no!
Discontinued = Good so!
