Hello, hello, hello! D
Today I describe the fragrance "Parfum de la Nuit 1", a fragrance from the series "Parfum de la Nuit", of which there are three pieces. These fragrances are meant to bring to light the inner desires, the lust, the desire and the yearnings that all of us have deep inside us and that are seldom revealed during the day.
But when night falls... then... BATMAN shows up!!!! Mu ha ha ha ha ha!!!
*sigh*
That's typical, of course. When I write "Batman," I'm considered a nerd.
If I write something about the dark side of the Force (because of the darkness of the night), I'm considered a freak. But if I had written that we would all become tail-guided lecheresses during the night, then I would once again be regarded as a pervert, who would think first of all of pig stuff and secondly urgently need a girlfriend. That's what you think of me, isn't it??
Okay okay, I may not have a girlfriend, but I don't ONLY think about pig stuff... every two minutes I think about Star Wars and every three minutes about cats... which would mean that I wouldn't think about pig stuff every minute, but only every three minutes or so! Hm... Well, then I'm just a little bit perverted and freaky... fits clichéd really well together, right? *sigh* Aargh... :D
Anyway, Roja Dove, the perfumer of all these fragrances, also likes the name that some have given him: He's supposed to be the pornographer of scents... well who's perverted here now, huh??
The fragrance:
Soo, the top note here says bergamot. I don't smell these at all. Instead, for me, the fragrance begins slightly floral, but with a dry, spicy scent. Like flowers in Mediterranean places that grow in large fields in summer and are roasted by the glistening sun. Which is both a beautiful sight and a feeling of having actually arrived on holiday when walking in such fields. And since it smells resinous, I smell the cistus roses, which have a slightly resinous smell and grow especially in dry places in Mediterranean places like the Mediterranean. To this dry resinous scent (whereby the dry scent is softened by the resinous scent and thus smells softer later) further scents like saffron and clove go very well with it, whereby the cloves are a little more difficult to smell out. Although the fragrance remains slightly dry or the cistus roses can still be smelled later, the fragrance is still rather softer at the end due to the resinous and other gentle scents such as balsamic scents and powdery notes such as vanilla and tonka bean. He gets a slight sweetness, but I wouldn't call the scent really sweet. But it is very beautiful and therefore worth a try.
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is quite good. Really good, actually. You are wrapped up in a larger scent cloud, which may seem smaller to you, as it may appear a little dry. But others will certainly be able to perceive the scent on you well.
The shelf life is also really good, because the fragrance lasted longer than twelve hours.
The bottle:
As always, the bottle is of extremely high quality. It is partly handmade because the black gemstones in the gold-plated lid were apparently inserted by hand, as well as the golden label, which should always be applied by hand. The bottle itself is rectangular and filled with an amber-coloured scented liquid. It is massive and therefore a bit more difficult to handle with the larger bottles. But nevertheless it is beautiful and above all extremely high-quality, which reinforces the feeling of actually having a luxury product in your hand. Yep, the bottle is (again) very well done.
Well, somehow the name of the fragrance confuses me. Because the smell smells for me quite "brightly", thus as described approximately as if I would go during the day in the vacation at beautiful places walk and thereby the smell of the dry resinous and sun-roasted flowers would smell. It is a beautiful scent, a scent that makes you happier or gives you a good mood. It may not be fresh, but it's not really heavy either. It looks as if it would bring back summer when you use the scent in autumn or winter, and I think it can also be used in spring.
After a passionate night full of fire and desire he doesn't smell for me now anyway... however I don't have a girlfriend at the moment as described at the beginning, so what do I know about passionate scents! :D Have so indulgence, if I lie totally beside it and for you the smell is the total "porn fragrance", perhaps completely as Mr. Roja Dove has imagined it :D
It is definitely worth testing, especially for those who love the Mediterranean and everything that goes with it, including its fragrances, very much!
