Holy Moly
Niche fragrances, fragrance pyramids, top, heart and base notes are new territory for me. Also 'olfactory' was not yet stored in my vocabulary and first had to be hunted through the search engine. Thus, it is undeniable that I am an absolute amateur in this field.

By the way, my signature scent is Oud Wood by TF. My eierlegende Wollmilchsau for every conceivable situation. A classic and in my opinion very timeless fragrance. Cheating!? Never cheat! Never change a running system! For me as a mechanical engineer obvious.

First things come differently and secondly....

Anyway, I came across RD's UAE fragrance by accident. In my jargon, I would call him 'Industry 4.0'. Another, in this case the 4th, industrial revolution. With UAE then, however, an 'olfactory' (vocabulary update) revolution because never before have I been able to perceive such a grandiose fragrance.

As a fragrance newcomer, I still enjoy puppy protection. This has the advantage that I do not have to deal with the systematic analysis of the fragrance pyramid when reviewing UAE. With the ingredient list, my nose would be overwhelmed anyway. So in this case, a meaningful, Holy Moly will do! Yes, I like it and it suits me very well! In the end, that's what matters to me.

Back down to earth. UAE is definitely not an egg-cellent! Not bad, because he is much too bad for daily use. The scent looks very elegant and masculine on me but also a little dirty (in a positive sense). The scent development is ingenious and changes hourly (at least that's my impression). Now in winter I wear the fragrance together with a fine knit turtleneck sweater and a black leather jacket. So elegance and dirtiness harmonize perfectly for me. I find UAE suitable for the evening hours. For the summer, it may be a little too heavy.

Fragrance for Petrolheads
... THE! Fragrance for those with gasoline in the blood!

Who was ever in the Emirates, knows that
PS-strong cars & Oud lastige fragrances belong to the order of the day there.
This is the first fragrance that reflects for me really authentic the Arab Emirates in itself.
Not necessarily because of the above two things, but because everything there revolves around oil / luxury & in principle everything is created by it.

UAE starts as an oud / rose mix at gas station or underground parking accord & light crude oil note. In between, you take times again and again a touch of currant & clove was what the whole thing rounds off beautifully.
That pulls as a common thread through to the end.
For me, actually, the perfect fragrance for the modern sports car driver ü30.
Everything is again Roja-typically tip-top interwoven and smells just damn noble!

As for durability & projection, it is a beast.
Locker 12h & as good as not wash off.

Definitely a signature/buy candidate.

The oriental curtain... / Another rose with oud...
Hello everyone,

i have already mentioned it in one place or another, me and Roja this will certainly no longer be a "love story", among other things because of the price, some fragrances are simply modest / below average and often GOOD ones cost an upscale amount in the sense of almost XXXX€ (and discreetly more), so I generally always find it difficult to say "GO" to someone.... .

Something on the side:

You can say certain negative things, especially about the fragrances, the performance, the price, the creative aspect and so on. but the OVP, the bottle, the sprayer and the lid are premium, really and I don't understand the people who don't award a 9 or even a 10!

Another rose - oud?!

Yes, yes... but it's different, far different from the ones I've known so far. I have to say that I know 1, 2, 3 fragrances from Ensar Oud, but these are price ranges that I don't (yet) want to venture into. The oriental and slightly nice + friendly influence of the blackcurrant bud make it really good!

And the drydown is very easy to wear, with benzoin, musk and the not (!) sacred incense + rose with oud which is always there, but disappears more and more into the background.

I'll be honest, when I saw the bottle and read the name, I immediately thought - that the Roja is/will be way too oriental oudy, but my way of thinking turned out to be 0.0 and I'm HAPPY (really) that I tested it.

So far, the United Arab Emirates is my (personally) best fragrance from Roja,
which I would also buy!
(In the bottle!)

I'm really bored with this fragrance line at the moment and there's not really anything new/new twist in this direction and that's also why I don't own anything in this direction at the moment, but it's really really good!
Buy - yes, but please test first!

How is it being received?

I have a lot of female colleagues who are gone as soon as they hear and smell oud. They find it really nice and pleasant and my wife also likes it and she hates oud too.

Performance:

Very good (ever!)

Many houses in the niche sector, such as MFK, work primarily on a purely synthetic basis,
but here you can already notice a certain difference in quality!!!! That's why thumbs up!
My conclusion on the subject of price, purchase and recommendation ...,
IF you find a remaining bottle, take it!

If I really wasn't convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!

And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

ROJA UAE I Arabian prince in an atypical rose oud robe!
The United Arab Emirates was brought to my attention by a colleague; it was said to be the best of the line and unique in its fragrance DNA. No sooner said than done - bottle arrived, fragrance intensively tested.

What is my personal impression of United Arab Emirates?
- The opening is surprisingly refreshing, the first few seconds are characterized by a citrusy floral bouquet; the bergamot together with the May rose, jasmine and rose geranium characterize the first few minutes from my point of view; yes, ylang-ylang can also be easily perceived, but for inexperienced noses the opening is simply citrus-floral.

- However, the oriental spice seeps through very quickly and, yes, very slightly, and if you are pointed to it, you could get the impression of a petrol note. In my opinion, however, it is a wonderful combination of oud-rose together with other spicy ingredients (cumin, clove, etc.). After that, the rose-oud combination develops into a more smoky-balsamic composition; smoky probably because of the incense and cypriol, with the balsamic coming more from the labdanum, guaiac wood, benzoin.

- As you can see, the fragrance is really complex in nature and goes through different phases. Really insanely beautiful!

- The H/S can be ranked in the top third even with newer batches, although I have heard that old batches are even more intense and have that "gasoline smell" even more pronounced.

For fans of oriental fragrances, this scent is a must-have, but definitely requires a practiced nose to really understand and appreciate the art behind this fragrance. Definitely not a blind buy recommendation.

perfectly balanced oud
This is an extremely well-constructed oud blend - not too heavy, not too light. I'm not a huge oud person but this is the best oud blend I've tried. The more I wear this the better it gets. It's put together perfectly I think. But 600 bucks for 50ml? Probably not gonna happen.

In my opinion, this is the best oud roja offers. Perfectly balanced, perfectly blended. This is opulence and niche perfumery at its best.

Opens similar to Oud Ispahan and develops similar to Oud for Greatness. Still higher complexity than both. Longevity great. Big like

Gentle oud with benzoin meet taif rose, tinted by the green-citric fruitiness (blackcurrant) and a little bit animalistic undertone (civet?).
