Very good vetiver fragance... If It would cost half price...

I havebto different opiniones about this perfume. In one hand It is nice, very weareable and very natural, but on the other hand the performance on my skin is bad, more when It costs 300€, and It doent offer anything new that you cant find in grey vetiver by Tom Ford for half price or un vetiver by guerlain for a sixth part of the price. So, i think that It really doesnt worth the price. If you dont mundo paying 250€ more for something that you can find for 50€ is ok... Buy just try both, i have made It, one perfume on each hand and you Will see... A very good option for a third parte of the price but i would never spend 300€ on It. Un adition It doenst project at all on my sking and lasts no more than 5 hours...a bit dissapointing...

Первые 10 минут я не смог вслепую с блоттеров отличить Ветивер Колонь от Ветивера EDP. Спустя полчаса обнаружилось, что Колоне больше свежести, цитрусовости и меньше ореховости, что мен порадовало. В базе на коже я их опять не различаю.

Хорошо, что появилась концентрация Колонь, хорошо, что на мой нос аромат не изменился, а если и изменился, т ов лучшую сторону. Вот цена еще бы уменьшилась. Не нужна мне 100-ка, мне 50 мл бы вполне хватило. Но всё равно 10 из 10!

Mossy Vetiver

perfect symphony

I think Roja is among the best nose in the most “known” perfumery to the public. symphony of perfectly mixed notes. you feel it all as one big wonderful thing. I had these feelings with many others in the collection. do I recommend it? yes! even for those who don't like vetiver. I wish everyone could have the opportunity to hear the works created by the master Roja

Perfect Vetiver

I would describe the scent of vetiver as 'tolerable.' On its own, this ingredient may smell interesting, but it is not exactly what one would call a nose-pleaser. Earthy, smoky, burnt, somewhat bitter, and straw-like.

However, as soon as vetiver receives an appropriate olfactory counterbalance, it transcends itself. Much like a slice of cucumber in a Pimms Cup No 1 or some celery seed in coleslaw.

Clearly, it is a great art to dose and incorporate vetiver in such a way that an optimal balance between freshness, sweetness, and earthy vetiver is achieved.

One of my favorite brands has solved this by making vetiver barely perceptible, yet still giving the fragrance its individual character. Other vetiver scents emphasize the main ingredient more and lean towards specific directions. In the past, I had to set aside some good vetiver fragrances with a heavy heart because there was just a bit too much of this or that for my taste.

And I am not the only one here searching for the perfect vetiver scent. Because this stuff does have something. I think that at least a mature man can hardly be better scented than with good vetiver.

When I spray this vetiver cologne on my palm, mix in some nourishing cream, and rub it on my face after shaving, I truly feel perfectly groomed and scented. All day long.

The smokiness is quite pronounced, but it is balanced by a subtle citrus freshness and a rich sweetness that perfectly offsets the rough vetiver without dominating it. If anything slightly dominates here, it is the vetiver.

Overall, however, the picture is very rounded and balanced. I would almost say it is the most perfect vetiver scent I have smelled so far. I feel extraordinarily comfortable with it because it satisfies my nose and also smells very eloquent, making me happy to be around people with it.

There remains the ridiculous price to discuss. I find Roja's pricing policy very unsympathetic. The fragrances are good, no question. Everything I have smelled from this manufacturer so far is solid and high-quality. But they target a clientele that wants to buy something special. The more expensive, the better. From the perspective of us fragrance lovers, who don't light our cigars with a hundred-euro note, it is profoundly unfair that such beautiful products are reserved for an elite circle or leave too deep a mark on our accounts. For white truffles or beluga caviar, I might still accept such a pricing policy because the products are very rare and the demand is high. But offering such a fragrance for 270 euros is a strategy I do not support. One can also go overboard.

Maybe I'll get a 30% discount someday; then I would jump at it.

A 'cheers!' to this fragrance from me and a 'boo!' for its price.
