Elysium ? Not quite
This time they didn't come close to the original. At least not for my nose.
While Elysium is way brighter and more sparkling, this is way darker and a lot more sweeter.
Hayaam reminded me of BR540 with a smokier twist. In the drydown the sweetness is fading away a bit.
This is a bit manlier than BR540 with that smokey accord being added.
That's how I see it.
The original BR540 is very nice as a fragrance but I am not reaching for it that often.
The performance of Hayaam is a strong point. 10+ hours on the skin with a noticeable or very noticeable presence if you spray more.
Despite some similarities with other familiar scents, Hayaam still remains a unique scent in a way and it's a solid fragrance for a decent price.
Fall/winter and maybe colder spring days/nights. Versatility can be deceiving, so keep that in mind.
I'll keep it for some nights when I want to be noticed.
Nice bottle and nice sprayer with a beast mode longevity and for a great price. Elysium clone ? I doubt that.
You should give it a try, maybe it would please your tastes.
Overall : 8.4/10

Fruity Joy and Saffron Frustration
Wow, Hayaam starts extremely citrusy-fruity-fresh. I don't think I've ever experienced such a fruity opening before. There's also a hint of sweetness, and so it continues in the top note. The fruity-sweet note becomes denser, and from a distance, the scent reminds me of candied fruits.

Slowly, Hayaam transforms. From the base note, leather and woody notes cautiously blend in. It also becomes a bit resinous, and a fruity-sweet heaviness runs through it. The main note, although dominated by lemon and clover, actually reminds me a bit of ginger. Gradually, Hayaam moves slightly towards a spicy-smoky note, but the fruity core character remains intact.

The base note, however, reminds me too much of saffron, which makes this scent a no-go for me. It's a pity, because up until that point, I really liked Hayaam. I find the longevity on the skin to be average, and the projection is at least noticeable at first.

Different than expected
Hayaam is strangely compared here to "Elysium pour Homme (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums," but that is far from the truth; in my opinion, the scents do not resemble each other at all.
Overall, I find the fragrance notes somewhat misleading; looking at them, one might expect a fresh scent, but right from the opening, you realize it goes in a completely different direction.

In the top note, lemon is listed, but in reality, it is hardly prominent at all.
Rather, I perceive pepper and something oriental that has a slightly smoky scent, but I don't find these notes when looking at the pyramid.

In the dry down, this oriental-smoky character remains, and leather joins in.
The pepper also persists, while the lemon in the background only radiates a very subtle fruitiness that almost gets lost because the other notes are so dominant.
I hardly perceive Irish clover either, but towards the end, I do notice the woody notes.
The scent overall feels smoky, leathery, spicy, and slightly woody.

I had expected something completely different.
Unfortunately, this is not my DNA at all, but it's good to know that I don't need it after observing it for a while.

The performance is above average; it lasts long and projects very well without needing to overspray.
Here, it definitely knows how to impress.

One important point to conclude: The scent is anything but unisex.
For me, it is quite masculine (M80%/20%W).
I thought I would warn the ladies so they don't make a wrong purchase.

A Dream of Sunny Meadows and Dark Forests
Yes, that was another successful blind swap! But before I smelled "Hayaam," I wasn't completely 100% sure. The "fragrance pyramid" suggested it would be much sweeter. However, this wonderful "water" has completely convinced me through my own nose... Something I have never smelled like THIS before!!
It proves to be very harmonious without seeming "boring." Quite the opposite is true!
For it is a kind of refined "double fragrance," where a meadow in full bloom (clover and others...) flourishes, greens, and scents in the warm sun! Opposite it stands a cooler, darker forest, waiting with wonderfully woody-earthy scents. But that's not all! A bright birch grove ("leather") awaits me between the forest and the meadow. Everything is much less sweet than I initially thought. At times, it can even become quite crunchy. This is countered by a very subtle fine sweetness. Truly a dream. Not from a thousand and one nights, but from light and shadow, flowers and woods, coolness and warmth, MARVELOUS!!

The citrus doesn't blend well with the leather, slightly sharp, it could definitely be crafted more delicately. Leather is rather soft, sweet, floral.

A fresh oriental with excellent performance. The drydown of this perfume is one of the most beautiful I've ever known.

I was looking forward to lemon and clover, but got masculine, woody, oriental leather instead. It leans towards Elysium (Roja).
