Clean but complex
This was a blind buy while I was on a trip to my local TJ Maxx. I had heard a lot about Swiss Arabian, but have never had the opportunity to try the brand, so I grabbed this as soon as I realized what I was looking at. Luckily, I find this to be extremely pleasant and complex without being overbearing. Jamila perfume oil smells very fruity and fresh upon first applying, getting a bit of the apple. This fruity sweetness sticks around for several hours and dries down into a classic clean musk accompanied with a slight spiciness that adds something more interesting to the scent. I have been using this oil for long days at school when I want to smell good but not offend my classmates, but I also do apply lightly. As far as longevity goes, I could still smell this around me 10 hours later, though it was much lighter in the later hours. Overall, I find this fragrance to be a nice introduction to the brand and look forward to trying other offerings from Swiss Arabian in the future.
