Battle of the fruits
I am one of the lucky ones who knows someone who knows someone.
So I was able to buy the Kuma for an extremely interesting price.
Anyone can take a look at the bottle, I won't go into that. One thing perhaps: the finish is more than adequate ;)
Now to the fragrance.
My first fragrance of this kind.
The fruit salad at the beginning with this very subtle creaminess is simply phenomenal.
The citrus fruits naturally set the tone. The rest is only just behind. It seems as if the fruits are each fighting for the nose's favor. Sounds like chaos and confusion. But it's not. Everything harmonizes perfectly with each other.
The passion fruit can be detected on my skin all the time. Outstanding!
The sweetness of the raspberry and the peach round things off very well at the beginning.
After a few minutes, the vanilla adds a little more creaminess. The fragrance now reminds me a little of an ice cream from my childhood.
Sandalwood and musk join in. Soft, classy... dreamy really.
The fragrance is sweet, but aren't fruits always sweet?
A light, fluffy sweetness with a wonderful creaminess that wears the sweetness on its white velvet gloves.
The fruit basket is never lost in the fragrance and caresses the nose the whole time. Gorgeous.
10/10 summer fragrance and you definitely smell unique.
My association would be the following:
Vacation, palm trees, motto of the hotel that evening: white night. Dress code therefore white clothes.
After dinner, you go to the beach bar for a nightcap. You wear a white shirt (with the first 3.4 buttons undone, of course), beige linen trousers and white slip-ons. All around you is that scent.
On the other side sits the Unknown Beauty in a white dress. Her brown curls literally shimmer in the red sun, which is gradually setting behind her.
The rest remains interpretation.
If the fragrance is a little too unisex, it can be layered very well with Aventus.
I use the 2013 batch for this, which is a little smokier than the current ones.
The pineapple plus this woody smokiness goes perfectly with the Kuma.
Unfortunately, I'm not yet a complete professional when it comes to reviews, but I hope I was able to give a little insight here.
Take care.
Chris
