Natural honey and tobacco scent
Imagine taking a jar of artisanal honey into the walk-in humidor of a cigar shop, opening the cap, and take a huge whiff. That's what Tabac Impérial smells like. Just the most realistic sticky sweet almost animalic honey against the backdrop of smooth soft tobacco.

In my opinion Tobacco Honey and Tobacolor don't hold a candle up to this. They might have a bit more going on in terms of notes/complexity* but this just feels NATURAL and more high-quality.

The dry down gets a bit woody-patchouli after a few hours. Longevity and sillage are great. Priced high like other designer private lines but this collection can be found at deep discounts.

*By complexity I'm talking more about the interplay between notes/accords rather than the number of aromachemicals present. For a comparison to music, Tobacco Honey would be like a symphony being played on a synthesizer while Tabac Impérial is like a live violin and cello playing together. Less complex in that there's less notes being played at the same time, but sounds/smells richer and more complete.

Honey and Tobacco
I tested this fragrance for the first time at the airport, and it had already impressed me.
I had the opportunity to try it again and it only confirmed my sensations: a wonderfully realistic, slightly bitter honey, combined with a delicate and very pleasant tobacco.
The other notes make it decisive, incisive, just the way I like it.
I consider it super sensual on a woman, equally on a man.
Ended up on wishlist.
Ideal for the colder seasons, or for an important summer evening.

Welcome to provençal hives
tested thanks to a discovery box with the whole collection, I was apprehensive about this one because I'm not a fan of tobacco perfume.

ultimately the tobacco is barely perceptible, because the honey takes up all the space in this fragrance, leaving only crumbs for the other notes.

very similar to Tobacco Honey from Guerlain, but without making me travel to Yemen this time but in the transhumance with the Provençal hives of my childhood.

a less aggressive, more subtle, better-dosed honeyed fragrance, this perfume will obtain a better rating than Guerlain's version that is too Bourin.

a unisex perfume to be preferred for winter, with this warming and comforting honey, the trail is very good and the staying power is incredible, allow 12 hours for this juice.

nevertheless I do not invest in a perfume costing more than €300 to smell like honey even if it reminds me of my childhood, what I am looking for is a unique smell and perfumes that respond to the essence of their creation, seduction.

I find myself more with a perfume that makes me a beekeeper, a farmer rather than a seducer. It will therefore be without me for this reference.

I recommend it to all honey lovers, to be preferred over tobacco joney from Guerlain.

Honey Macho
Tabac notes are no surprise. But the way they are blended with honey made me overwhelmed. "Atelier Versace - Tabac Imperial | Versace" is a gentle, yet self- conscious fragrance, suitable for day (rather the second half) and early evening. I rather picture it on a mature man, however an elegant lady may love it as well. I would not limit myself to any season, paradoxically it can be a perfect match for summer night.
I appreciate a lot the way patchouli is incorporated into the scent, it gives dryness and elegance. Same with woody notes and cypriol.

Great Tobacco-Honey Combo
The Atelier Versace collection is a fantastic niche collection from the designer brand Versace. I love such expensive "Private Blends" from designer brands, as they truly live up to their luxurious name. Not only in terms of scent, but also the presentation is really great here. The Atelier Versace collection is quite underrated, which is evident with this Tabac Imperial, having no reviews before mine and very few ratings overall. You can get the fragrances at a relatively reasonable price, about 1/3 of the price, making them not much more expensive than many designers. The MSRP of €345 might be a bit high, but in terms of quality, the marketer EuroItalia does offer something here. Thus, the "sale prices" are really good, and you can grab them if you like honey scents like Back to Black, Naxos, or Tobacco Honey. From the collection, this is the second one I can warmly recommend after Gingembre Pétillant.

The scent arrives in an unremarkable brown box that protects the packaging well. Then there is still a cellophane wrapping until you finally reach the actual niche box. Stylistically, it somewhat reminds one of Xerjoff, but visually it is distinct and does justice to the luxury brand. The bottle is also extremely well-made with this golden cap featuring the famous Medusa on top. Everything is crafted with extreme elegance.
The scent gives you a tobacco fragrance, at least that’s what the name suggests. In my opinion, it is a wonderfully balanced mix of honey and tobacco, with the honey slightly dominating for me. Dry-spicy tobacco is also very present and is more in the foreground along with the soft and sweet honey note. This combination really convinces me, as neither note becomes too overpowering. Even though there are quite a few honey scents on the market, this combination is very unique and not a cheap knockoff or dupe of anything. The honey note becomes increasingly softer over time without losing too much power. The tobacco also becomes noticeably softer after 1-2 hours, making the scent quite wearable in the autumn-winter everyday life. At the top of the scent profile, smokiness is at the forefront. I find it absolutely not smoky, rather soft and cuddly-sweet with this spicy sweetness. Gentle wood and warm benzoin make the scent very soft towards the end. Cypriol and patchouli provide slightly smoky-earthy-dark vibes, but they are far from the forefront. Predominantly, this is a warm-spicy-sweet scent that could be considered a crowd-pleaser, even though it possesses niche nuances. Overall, it is very pleasing and has, similar to Naxos, great potential to be a crowd-pleaser.
Performance is really good, and the longevity exceeds the 10-hour mark. It also has a good sillage, which I expect from honey scents. The fragrance is very suitable for the cooler months and, of course, is also a great evening scent, as well as being suitable for everyday wear. Unisex is fair and accurate, as honey can appeal to both genders. Tobacco adds some edges and contours, yet the spiciness is largely soft.

Overall, a great fragrance with a sensational price-performance ratio (of course, not the MSRP). The scent is rightly rated highly here, even though not many have voted, and this fragrance definitely deserves more attention. But hidden gems are always great, as they make you smell unique. Only for people who like honey.

Authentic-smelling, earthy tobacco blended with ambrosial honey. Nothing like the Guerlain to my nose. Incredible value on discounters.

One of the rare designer tobacco perfumes where you really feel the presence of pure tobacco throughout the evolution of the scent .

Green tobacco in the wooden box drizzled with heavy honey, Cypriol and benzoin round it off. It has a bold character typical of the brand, but I like it.

Very natural, dripping honey drips from the tobacco leaves. The straw flower adds a balancing dryness and spice. Good!

The clearly better Guerlain Tobacco Honey. A honey note that melts away. Tobacco blended to perfection.

Tobacco meets honey, but not as you might expect - rather, a dry tobacco landscape is gently tamed by the honey - a highlight!
