Is this what an angel with black wings smells like?

This is a woody fig fragrance with dominant sandalwood. The opening starts much darker than the drydown, I assume that this is due to the tolu balsam and amber, which I can sense more at the beginning. After a short time, the perfume becomes softer, creamy-powdery, thanks to sandalwood, musk and vanilla. The combination of bergamot, sandalwood and musk here reminds me a bit of "Une Nuit à Montauk - Nothing but Sea and Sky | Une Nuit Nomade" - that whiteness, peace in the turmoil. There is an undeniable coconut-milky aspect to the perfume, but it's not sweet. Because of this, "White On White | XerJoff" reminds me a bit of "Blanche Bête - Eau de Peau | Liquides Imaginaires", and the ironic thing is that neither perfume mentions the note of coconut. Comparing the two scents, Blanche Bete is a creamier, sweeter scent with a stronger coconut note and is generally much more intense. White on White is gentler, more sophisticated and leans more on the woody side. If Blanche Bete was a white knitted cardigan, White on White would be a white silk top.

A perfume that immediately comes to mind when looking at the notes is Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum - also a woody fig scent with dominant sandalwood. Both are relatively cool scents, with Gris Charnel having a certain amount of warmth from the cardamom, while White on White seems more neutral and softer due to the musk and coconut-milky quality. GC has some green aspect in the opening, which is not present in WoW, and the fig is more fruity in GC. While both are woody scents, WoW leans a bit more towards that side, and it also smells more powdery and cleaner. I would say that GC is more mass-appealing (although it's special and very interesting), but I find "White On White | XerJoff" more intriguing.

This fragrance really enchanted me! I'll have to wear it a little more before I decide on a full bottle, but so far it looks promising.

The dry down is the real winner here

On first smell, a sweet and sour fig. Not a common fruity scent you will come across. I didn't think much of it initially. It was unique but do I really want to smell like a conflicting fig that was both sweet and sour at the same time? Reminded me of those dried figs you can buy from oriental markets. Its certainly not unpleasant but if that was all there was to the scent then it wouldnt be my cup of tea.

Then comes the dry down. This is where the fragrance shine. I smell cream milky coconut with a hint of vanilla and what remains a subtle fig i previously described. It was such a curious scent that I kept sniffing my arm. How on earth did a fig morph into a realistic coconut. This certainly isnt an overpowering scent. It was the depth of xerjoff's dna. It is undoubtedly a xerjoff scent. But its lighter than its more intense scents like "Cruz del Sur II | XerJoff" "Tony Iommi Monkey Special | XerJoff" . Not light in an airy alcoholy manner like most french perfumes, but deep and intense like the italian and arab ones. It sits somewhere in middle, being light and creamy. I would say it smells like an expensive body butter with a complex yet pleasant compound.

The only unfortunate thing is that because its milder fragrance, the sillage isn't strong and neither is the longevity.

Is it a White fragrance?? Call me Brown

It kicks off with a fresh vibe, but pretty quickly shifts into something softer thanks to the fig—pretty intense, but not overwhelming.
Then, out of nowhere, it turns into this creamy, cuddly cloud with a sandalwood/vanilla mix that feels super cozy and enveloping.
A bit later, there’s this green-balsamic twist that definitely adds some edge.
Loads of patchouli and some milky (lactonic) notes too. This scent takes up space. Let’s say it dances somewhere between gourmand, powdery, and woody.
Definitely not a daytime or office scent.
I'd call it a sister to Opera, More Than Words, and Starlight.

This is THE fragrance

I can't put into words how amazing I find this fragrance.
It completely reflects my existence.
My signature scent!!
It starts off green with bergamot and fig leaf, shortly followed by a scent reminiscent of Rafaello, I assume that comes from the fig milk.
As it develops, the fragrance becomes creamier and a bit sweeter.
Do you know that feeling when you smell a fragrance for the first time and immediately know 'This is THE fragrance'?
It blew me away and I knew right away it was true love.

UNISEX - Gourmand with a certain Raffaello twist / The special one / The underrated one

Hello everyone,

I would like to talk about a UNISEX fragrance that, in my opinion, deserves more attention, the "White On White | XerJoff".

Each of the set has its definite right to exist, but the others are either generic or too monotonous. The "White On White | XerJoff" is really special. I have read very, very often things (in this forum!) like, I'm looking for another gourmand, something in the direction of coconut, or someone directly said I'm looking for the Raffaello scent...

The "White On White | XerJoff" is this; it is not a 1:1 "copy" of the sweet treat, but it noticeably goes in that direction. Slightly green, COCONUT, vanilla, creamy (!) and a bit of wood in the drydown, but everything is indeed in the gourmand direction.

AND...,

in this fragrance direction, it is, in my opinion (of those I know!), the only scent in that regard. So if you are looking for another gourmand, this might be "THE FRAGRANCE" for you.

The performance is good + ;) and the compliments are really interesting, because no one suspects anything when they walk next to you or cross your path, and certain looks are the order of the day (personal experience).

If I really weren't convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!

This opens like a coconutty gourmand, reminiscent of "Gran Ballo". On skin, the fig leaf is a bit harsh. Dries like a green solar floral.
