Just, wow.

In comparing this to Dior Homme Intense, they both start off very similar (lots of iris), though VUI quickly becomes less powdery and more sweet than DHI. A slight zestiness from the mandarin orange and slight mintiness from the clary sage become present (a very slightly fresh orange scent), with the sweetness from the Tonka bean heart coming in quickly to sweeten the iris. After about an hour and a half, DHI is hardly noticeable as a skin scent on my hand (latest formulation), while VUI continues to project strongly. VUI ultimately becomes vanillicly (not a word, I know) sweet, still iris-y but not too much so, and the leather provides an elegantly dark and masculine undertone (very subtle). Ultimately, I love this fragrance. Very classy, strong, masculine, yet has a significant presence of sensitivity. For a well-dressed gentleman. 5 hours later, still a good presence (1 spray), still smells like smooth, sweet, slightly orangey iris. Dry down could function as a good close encounter scent, if not over-applied. 24+ hours later, dry down smells of leather and vanilla with a hint of iris. Pleasant.

Best Vanilla note in a perfume ever made.

I never buy designer perfumes but I'm seriously considering getting this one.

Yes, it's very similiar to Dior Homme, but the drydown is definetely better. Close to the end, almost all the notes dissapear to leave only a very clean and pure scent of vanilla. Almost organic vanilla, High quality vanilla. It's magic when this happens. I'm getting a bottle.

Elegant and Classy Fragrance in Jazzy Environment (9.5/10)

Scent
Flowery musky and a bit sweet on the scent, gives the mood of elegant and classy. High class scent.

Longevity
The hold of the scent is nice. It depends on the environment, weather/condition, activity involve, and season of the country.
For non 4-seasons countries, it is very suitable on evening/night and cold/rainy season. The longevity can hold longer (7-8 hours) rather than on day or summer season (5-6 hours).
For the 4-seasons countries, the longevity is better and longer especially on evening/night and fall/winter season (more than 12 hours).

Performance
The performance is not on the spot. It is continuously and gradually. The top notes, its similar to Dior Homme. However, when its go to the middle notes and base notes, the scent is getting stronger and hold better.

Sillage
It depends on the environment and location. Cold and air-conditioned place give a better sillage performance rather than in the crowd and open places.

Uniqueness
The Valentino Uomo intense is having its own uniqueness. Even it is quite similar to Dior Homme, but its has its own uniqueness which create its own identity and popularity.

Bottle Design
The design is nice. sort of crystal design and its shows the elegance and classy of fragrance.

A Valentino to Rulle them All

Well, its been more than a year since ii blind bought this perfume, and now i have to say it was a really good shot!
At first i thought of it as a suit up kind of fragrance, and i wore it at weddings and parties mostly...but!! After a wile i started using it to work on some days and i must say, this fragrance is a beast! I can smell it after a working day, and the smell is so classy...i feel the iris as a lipsticky vibe mixed with a citric Vanilla, really really pleasant! I can say in my honest opinion that i like it more than Dior Homme and Homme Intense (dont hate me please, just my taste).
So this week everytime i enter my room i feel VUI in the air from my clothes and the smell stayed there for days, even when i was using other fragrances this one overtook them... So... If you want a classy scent that is good for any ocasion and for any season (carefull with the amount of sprays) you should really give it a try!

This one is good

Great job valentino!! Very nice fragrance, gathers tons of compliments and positive attention , I really enjoy the mandarin in the opening but it only lasts like thirty seconds, I wish it could have some more citrus because after the opening it's iris vanilla all the way.- I have 2 bottles from 2016 and 2017. It's a strictly cold weather fragrance, Please guys, don't overspray this gem, two sprays and you are fine.. Trust me on this, if you overspray you are going to choke those around you and eventually after some time you'll find it cloying. Conclusion, great scent, strong and sensual,great package, great advertising, extremely good value for money, low versatility.
