I was first allowed to test the
Black Opium Eau de Parfum Over Red from the Black Opium range and then sniffed the original
Black Opium Eau de Parfum with a colleague.
Both were beautifully made for me, but not "must have" fragrances.
Black Opium Eau de Parfum Glitter made me really prick up my ears. Glitter? How can you imagine that? At first I thought there were glitter particles in the perfume that remained on the skin when I applied it, like a fashion accessory.
That it's the original name of a new flanker - well, you don't usually come up with the simplest thing. Thanks to @Tasjunja for the opportunity to test the fragrance while sharing!
The perfume comes pretty close to the original
Black Opium Eau de Parfum at the start. A little sensuality, a little vamp, a little coffee. After a few minutes, however, it becomes really sweet. Sugar-sweet, to be precise. The marshmallows really kick in!
That makes the fragrance really interesting for me. I think this - first extreme, then adapted - sugary sweetness goes really well with this new flanker in the
Black Opium Eau de Parfum range. This makes the fragrance seem lighter, more upbeat and more cheerful than the original scent.
After 1-2 hours, the vanilla comes out very strongly, but the sweetness of the marshmallows remains in the background. The fragrance remains on my skin until it fades.
The longevity is absolutely okay. I smelled the fragrance on me for about 6-7 hours. I can still smell it on my clothes (around 10 hours after spraying it on). The sillage is comparable to the other perfumes in the range. No overkill (which is good!), but also no skin-hugging scent bubble, in short: appropriate.
Anyone looking for a "happy glitter", i.e. a sweeter, more cheerful version of
Black Opium Eau de Parfum, will be delighted with
Black Opium Eau de Parfum Glitter. For me, the fragrance was absolutely worth a test, but it is not a candidate for purchase.
