Marechiaro is a beast in a bottle. Everyone who knows me knows that I stay away from scents with beast mode. But how fresh can you possibly smell? And I don’t mean any aldehydic fresh laundry nonsense. Imagine you’re by the sea or better yet, you take a dip in the sea. Early morning, it’s cool. The wind is very chill. The sun is rising. The horizon turns orange behind the clouds. You are alone. Nothing disturbs. No chatter. No hustle. No seaweed. No brackish water. No flowers. No sunscreen. No fruit basket. Just the refreshing sea. That’s Marechiaro. But to leave a hair in the soup, it’s not particularly salty either.
