Cringe name, outstanding fig fragrance

Most fig scents are very green and leafy or rely strongly on coconut and/or sandalwood. This is something different. It's the ripest, juiciest fig I have ever smelled in a perfume. Really fruity and unmistakable fig and not just some random fruitiness. The opening has a hint of greenery and citrus, but not too much. In the heart phase a dark woodiness surfaces for a moment, then the scent turns sweeter. I can't say that I would have singled out vanilla, rose and pear in this without the notes list, but after reading it, it totally makes sense that they're listed. The base the fig lies on is warm and slightly feminine, maybe floriental would be the best description. But the overall impression is very heavy on the lush, ripe fig.

This is the perfect fig for those who are bored by the usual green fig scents. Very original, summery in feel, but wearable year round. Love it!
The only downside is that silly name and maybe the boring bottle.

Juicy fig fruit amber

I *love* fig fragrances, and specifically, I love the smell of fig fruit, rather than the leaf, so when I heard this was a fruity fig fragrance I had to try it. It opens up bombastic sweet fruity fig with incredible sillage. I had sprayed it on the back of my right hand and after that it was far and away the most dominant and persistent fragrance in my scent bubble for a good few hours. After that, the fragrances becomes a little more sweet fruity with a floral aspect that kinda reminds me of green muscat grapes and white floral and goes through a (thankfully) short messy latex plastic bit before that recedes and it slowly descends into a woody amber base that gets closer and closer to the skin. The longevity is ok in that it's still detectable on skin at roughly 10hrs in, but I would say the "main attraction" of the perfume is in the first 6hrs.

Surprisingly all-season for a fig fragrance and much more fig dominant than BDK Gris Charnel, which I suppose is the only other all-season fragrance I can think of that features fig. Much sweeter and juicier than most of the famous figs out there, like L'Artisan Premier Figuer and Diptyque Philosykos. Sweeter and not as woody/creamy as Essential Parfums Fig Infusion or Satellite a la Figue! Less bright and watery floral than Parfumerie Generale Jardin de Kerylos.

Sprayed on from the tester bottle at Ministry of Scent in SF on a 75F day. Worn about 10hrs at time of writing.

A green and sweet fig, ranging from fresh to dark

Sampling Borntostandout Fig Porn, a fresh, sweet, green, fig-lend blend that also includes woods, florals, and vanilla. It’s fittingly brighter in the opening but dries down to be a bit of a darker, sweeter gourmand, and I rather prefer the opening since it’s the brighter, greener side of fig that I intend to enjoy in fragrances (Dior Balade Sauvage, for example) but this is still enjoyable throughout, quite pleasant, a playful intersection of notes that’s easy to wear and not nearly as provocative as its name may suggest.

As with the rest of the line, it’s EDP concentration and priced at $210/85 for 50/15ml, available through US boutiques like Ministry of Scent, which carries the full line. I think this performs quite well, also.

Creamy and green

The fig was considered in Ancient Greece to be a highly erotic fruit.
You take the way it was eaten, you take its texture, you take its shape, it was related to beliefs of fecundity and vigor.
Fig Porn is a name that makes me see it from this point of view, despite being a fragrance that sees a very pulpy fig in the opening, accompanied by juicy and fruity notes, which fades and becomes creamier and greener.
A nice discreet and elegant interpretation.

Creamy Delectable Fig

If every fig fragrance comes close to this, then I can see why fig fragrances are trending. This fig was so good. At first spray I am hit with a creamy juicy fig with a green background, like someone had to crush some bright green leaves to pick the fig which they then dipped into marshmallow fluff. I was worried that the bergamot would detract from the fig but it doesn't, it just adds complexity. The fig and green notes will fade into the woody floral, with some earthiness, but the creaminess will stay around. The dry down is the perfect blend of vanilla, musk, sandalwood, and amber. It projects pretty strong even in the dry down and it had lasted for hours on my skin.

I agree with some reviews: This is not a fig perfume, it’s just marketing. It’s overly sweet, a bit floral and musky. A pass for me.
