London the City of Contrast Lattafa Pride 2026

The most dominant note is a sweet citrus; most notably the Neroli. It's paired with the tangerine giving it a orange gummy candy-like quality. The neroli isn't heavy or heady. It's providing an additional supporting soft floral touch to the more forward citrus notes. Rounding out the aroma is a subtle note of vanilla, which softens the aroma but isn't really a standout note.

I do notice some differences on the strip vs on skin. On the strip, I do get a better sense of an apple note and the citruses come off a lot sharper. There is also a distinct waft of an animalic musk. I don't notice the musk at all on skin. Also, on both the strip and on the skin, I still don't get any of the sandalwood or noticeable spicy aromatic ginger notes.

Overall, I like this better on skin. A sweet fruity citrus aroma with a dash of light floral that has contrasting softer tones at the base to mellow out the top notes. At first this leaned citrus bathroom spray, but it quickly somersaulted out of that category after 5 minutes. It's pretty linear but in the best way possible. Very easy to wear and would be an easy reach, especially if you like candied citrus aromas. Though the citrus accord is different, it has the same sweet quality like that in Ravine Ice - which is pretty stellar.

Out of the three Lattafa cities, this one is the most beautiful one.
The opening is very citrus forward with a mix of tangerine, lemon and bergamot.
Fresh and zesty, yet sweet too.
Drydown encompasses a balanced blend of gentle version of tuberose (the one you find in Do Son Eau de Toilette) and neroli with a sweetness from the apple. Vanilla and sandalwood are elusive. Musky base is that of Mojave Ghost Eau de Parfum sort of style, if you know what I mean...fresh and floral-ish. Present, but not overbearing. Classy.
If you are generally not a fan of tuberose, but flirting with the idea of exploring the note - London the City of Contrast is a great one for starters.

I had no idea what the scent was reminiscent of. The opening feels fresh to me, but not classically citrusy - rather a pleasantly soft combination of lemon and tangerine with a subtle pepper kick that gives it a unique character. After a short while, the scent changes significantly: the freshness recedes a bit, and an interesting blend of neroli, tuberose, and especially this slightly fruity apple accord emerges, which for me constitutes the heart of the fragrance.

In the drydown, it becomes calmer and softer. Vanilla and musk come through without making the scent completely sweet or creamy. What I particularly like is that the apple remains perceptible to my nose and provides a common thread throughout the progression.

What I like most about London the City of Contrast is exactly this feeling of not being able to categorize something immediately. It does not come across as the next well-known scent with interchangeable handwriting. I also can't really grasp the assessment of "very feminine" - for me, it clearly falls within the unisex range. I would not hesitate to want to smell it on a man. It is precisely this blend of freshness, floral softness, and subtle warmth that makes it exciting for me.
