Terrible

What is it happening when mixing Peony with geranium? Something terrible, it smells very weird in the background, a kind of unpleasant bitterness, like the scent of dandelion root. It's the worst scent from Le Couvent I have ever smelt.
By chance, I didn't buy it but got three 10ml samplers with my last orders.
I layered it with Rose de Mai Eau de Toilette which fortunatly attenuates the Peonia bitterness.
