No Aladdin, flying solo on the tapis volant ...

If you bought this expecting an oriental perfume right out of Arabian nights you’d be disappointed. This is a flying carpet without Aladdin or his Genie! The perfume is airy, light and sublime! I am glad I received this as a freebie with a purchase, I’ve been obsessed with the scent since October 2019. I cannot distinguish the individual notes, all I smell is this beautiful creamy floral soapy iris mingling with Jasmin which wraps me like a scent scarf. It’s different from anything I smelled before and if I believed in signature scents then this is totally signature scent worthy.

Blue carpet from which dreams are made

The window is open. A gentle breeze blows in. I look out. Out of nowhere, it is there, inviting me in, and I rise.

The blue carpet of dreams.

I feel safe right away, we fly fast, leave everything behind.
A Ŵärme surrounds me and envelops me.
We fly to a foreign land, delicate precious, fine, spicy smells I take.
In front of us the sun goes down. Everything around me shines in warm tones.
We are one with the horizon.
My worries, everyday life, I leave everything behind. I enjoy the here and now and the warming rays of the setting sun.
I enjoy the peace and security, the warmth of the carpet that carries me gently.
Below us I see palm trees, a small oasis at the camels water. I hear foreign languages. I do not understand them but it sounds strangely familiar.

The alarm clock rings.
I get up, take a shower, drink a coffee and put on my perfume.
Tapis Volant.
