Orientalism from the USA
I think that the Regal Musk Oud is my first fragrance from Dua Fragrances. The bottle looks quite cheap at first glance, but fortunately the scent is not. The longevity on my skin is 8 to 10 hours with a solid sillage.
The top note starts off citrusy and refreshing thanks to bergamot and lemon peel. I then recognize a lot of suede and oriental spices such as nutmeg, cardamom, saffron, allspice and cloves. The heart note remains decidedly leathery and is accompanied by floral aromas of rose water, jasmine blossom, tuberose and ylang-ylang. The base is animalic, woody and somewhat smoky and earthy thanks to oud, ambrette seed, musk, amber, birch water, oakmoss, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood.
For me, the Regal Musk Oud is quite successful but I will probably pass the bottle on again. Many thanks to Nick!
